Nice house, just needs some TLC and cleaning

First off, we were there for over two weeks and never once saw fireworks from the property! Pretty disappointing considering that is their main headline! Most of the door locks in the bedrooms and bathrooms didn’t work and there was mold in the showers and around the pool (nothing major but it needs a deep cleaning!!). The grass was over my knees when we got there and wasn’t cut until the middle of week two. It was very convenient to get to all the Disney parks, a little less for Universal. I-4 sucks but that’s not the property’s fault. While we were there the batteries in the carbon monoxide detector and one of the pool door alarms went bad. (Hope they replaced them before the next guests arrived) The floor plan for the house was nice, 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms! 2 bedrooms are master suites that have doors out to the pool area (one sink didn’t have any water pressure), one bedroom is in the front of the house and has a bathroom right beside it and the other two area side by side with a bathroom between them. Most of the beds felt like you were laying on plywood, the bed frame in one room was broken in the center and the king bed sagged quite a bit. The garage had a pool table and a foosball table in it, one light over the pool table and no climate control (HOT). The ice maker and one burner on the stove didn’t work too. Overall, with a little cleaning and some maintenance/repairs the house and location would be a 5 star.

Nice place...but

The house we rented was great for our needs. We loved the four bedrooms with king or full size beds, and having four bathrooms. The pool and spa were great. But there were a few issues. The kitchen was not well stocked. We had no dish towels or dish cloths and no dish washing liquid. The frying pans provided were very small, old and scraped up. There were absolutely no cleaning products anywhere in the house. Also, there were 4 of us staying at the house and they left us three pool towels? Most places I have stayed provide a "starter kit" for coffee. There was one small packet of coffee that could probably make two coffees and filters that did not match the coffee maker. I had messaged ahead of time asking what kind of coffee maker was in the house, but did not receive a response. I called the management company and they did promptly bring us some dish towels and clothes and we bought our own dish soap. Also, I'm not sure why they advertise this place as "Disney Fireworks House"? We did see any fireworks, not that we cared, but it's misleading. They should delete those pics from the listing and include more interior and exterior pics.

Family Vacation 2024

The house had a nice layout and was pretty much clean. The mattresses had stains. What we were very disappointed in was the pool/hot tub being cold. You had to pay additional for the heat and the heat would only be available from 8a-8p... who wouldn't want to sit in a hot tub after 8pm!!!!! There was no information stating the heat was an additional fee! The pool did not get clean as scheduled (yuck). Also, there was additional fees for other things.... using the grill and not cleaning good enough and using the safe. If this is how you are running the listing, that is fine... but please communicate this. I went back and looked and it is not in the listing information. The home was in a great location close to theme parks.

Close to Disney

The beds in 3 of the bedrooms were very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. Not near enough towels for the 10 person accommodations. 1 per person is not near enough. You cant wash and dry them fast enough when you go out all day. The kitchen needs a good cleaning. Plates and utensils still had food on them. Stove needs cleaning, very dirty burner liners and bottom drawer. Convenient location

Perfect in every way

If you are looking for a place that you can relax after a long day in the Parks this is the one . We ask manager far several special request and they were answered very timely. Very clean and stocked with everything you need. close and easy ride to all parks, shopping, and fast food. We will make this our Disney House on every trip

Recent Stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay this past weekend. Very spacious and the pool was refreshing. Only downside was that the jacuzzi pump was not functioning on the 2nd day. I had messaged the host but did not receive a response. Other than that, everything else was as advertised.

Very nice home

House was very clean. Some minor repairs needed. Location was great for us. The one thing we had a problem with was the grill. It was dirty all though there's a sign in the house stating $75 charge if the grill wasn't clean after use.. Oh, no propane in the tank so we refilled it. In the end our family had a great time and we'd enjoyed our stay

Joyner Family Disney Vacation 2021

Overall the house was nice however, it needs a good cleaning and some updated maintenance. When we arrived at the home, we found a hole in the ceiling in the front bedroom where lizards were coming in and out of it. There were two over the bed so of course, no one wanted to sleep in there with lizards hanging out on the ceiling. It is a late check-in (4:00 pm) so the management office was closed so no one slept in that room. We called the next morning and they sent someone out to patch and he caught one of the lizards but we found more that night. So the whole seven-day stay no one slept in the front bedroom, which was a disappointment because it was 8 of us. There were other things that needed to be attended to in the house, (broken lamp in the living room, toaster didn't work, bottle opener was broken, but we brought you a new one, cracks in the tiles coming into the house, etc.) but overall it is a beautiful home, in a nice area, and our kids had a great time. We were there for seven days and we had an amazing time. I would definitely recommend this home but hope that they take the time to make necessary improvements before.

Not what was described, very disappointing!

Check-in process was horrible. I never got an email with the entry code and was calling frantically to get one when we got there. I was finally able to get someone and they provided me with the check-in info. There were several issues with this house. The sliding door track to the pool area is very easy to knock off the track. The whole track should be replaced. There was black mold in front bedroom in the corner of the ceiling. The roof is definitely leaking and the mold is prominent. The pool was dirty and I had to call to request it be cleaned. I had to call management on our first day because the outside door in master bedroom with small bathroom was not usable and the oven didn’t work. They said they would send someone the next day, but no one came. I called again the day after that and someone finally came and fixed the issues. Finally, and most importantly, you CANNOT see the fireworks from the backyard. I purposely chose this house and feel like I paid extra because it was advertised that you could see fireworks. The children were very disappointed, as were the adults. Fireworks started back at the Magic Kingdom on July 1 and the weather was not that great so I gave the benefit of the doubt and waited until the next day. Perfect weather and you still can’t see them. Epcot fireworks are not visible either. They are right at the tree line. You can see the glare from the lights, but not the fireworks. I definitely would not recommend this house and will not be staying there again.

Wonderful, spacious house close to Disney Parks

This house is everything as listed. We had a fantastic time in the Orlando area and this home was a major part of why. It is close to all the Disney Parks and shopping areas. We were able to drive or even use Uber/Lyft to get to Disney Parks all within 15 minutes or less. It was truly like a home away from home. And the owner and property management were eager to ensure if we had any issues they were readily available to respond. I highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a spacious home in a quiet area while staying in the Orlando area.

Lovely Villa, very close to Disney Parks

We loved our stay in Florida, the villa was exactly as advertised in the photos, clean and tidy, it felt very spacious, the pool was warm and the villa had a great lay out for families. The villa is very central for shops, restaurants and a short drive to Disney, we also managed to see the fireworks from the pool although not the best viewing. I would say the oven was tired and a few extra serving bowls / baking trays would of been useful when home cooking for a large family when we did stay in. We did have an issue on arrival as there wasn't a cot or high chair in the villa as we'd requested, so had to head out to buy a cot late evening after arrival which wasn't ideal. We found the management company to be less than helpful but after contacting Jagu she was very quick to resolve any issues we had. We'd happily return to the villa and recommend.

Family Vacation

The house was very clean and close to all Disney parks. The beds were very comfortable however there were minimal supplies available. Most places we have stayed had at least salt and pepper available. You will need to bring absolutely everything needed for cooking rather than the pans. Make sure to bring additional toilet tissue, paper towels and laundry detergent as well. No matter which direction we looked we were unable to see any fireworks from the front or back porch of the property so no use trying. This was very upsetting to me and my family.

Management needs to pay better attention to house

The house is very nice and spacious. The pool was very nice although The lights on the pool didn’t work. The A/C had trouble cooling the bedrooms so we had to use fans at night. The refridgeator has a terrible smell to it. Like a rotten seafood smell. We could use the ice from it and couldn’t put anything in it because it smelled so bad. I bought baking soda to try to help with the smell but it was still unusable. The trash on the outside was never picked up so the trash cans were full, we had to take our trash to another dumpster. I put this all at no fault of the owner I put the management Company at fault. A better inspection of the property when guests leave would prevent all of these issues.

Not clean and too many bugs

I have no idea how this house got so many 5 star reviews?! I have stayed in many rental properties and this one was by far the worst. When we first got to the house, the front yard grass was over grown, the front door area was covered in webs and bugs, the pool area was covered in weeds, there were flies and huge spiders all over the house and there was a snake in the pool!!!! I thought we made a mistake and entered some kind of foreclosed property. I texted the home owner about all of this and they did have someone come out and cut the grass, pull the weeds and take the snake out of the pool. In the garage/play room there were construction materials including tiles, grout, paint and glass light fixtures. Very unsafe for small children. There were also roaches in the garage. Now, I understand that this is Florida and Florida has a lot more bugs than Chicago, but flies and spiders can be cleaned up. A few good comments about the house: close to attractions, lots of towels, and plenty of dishes. Beds were ok but sheets are old and worn. Would never return to this home and would not recommend. I feel like I paid way too much for this rental.
