Family Disney trip

We liked the location but the property manager was not helpful at all and didn’t even try to help us with our problems. The fitted sheets would not fit the king bed upstairs and you would have thought I asked him for a million dollars. They would not get us sheets that fit. The washing machine would not spin out all the water so I had to hand squeeze the water out of the towels the best I could. Towels took about 5 hours to dry. No extra blankets in the unit. There were no oven mitts for the kitchen. We had to use bathroom hand towels in the kitchen. There were ants in the bathrooms that i didn’t even report because what’s the use? I will make sure when I rent again that it will not be with this property manager. Also make sure you take extra everything. Paper towels were the cheapest ever so you run out of those in your first few hours and same with the tissue paper. They provide you with one garbage bag and one packet of dishwasher detergent. Just not what I’m use too when renting through VRBO. just disappointed. Could have been so much better😞

Overall nice, couple issues.

Overall the condo was good. We did have to kill three coach roaches while we were there. The location is pretty good. Within half hour of universal and even closer to Disney. The hugs freaked my wife out. The private small pool was awesome.

Family/Friend Trip

The property was beautiful and so clean. Exactly as pictured on the site. The communication with the property owner was absolutely amazing! Any time i had a question I was answered very quickly which was nice. I think my only issues whoch were quite small, were that the first night i saw a few bugs crawling around the bedroom so I emailed the owner and the next day a pest person was there spraying. Beware the millipedes in Florida! Also, it would have been nice to have had atleast one load worth of detergent and more than one or two trash bags. We ended up heading to Family Dollar and loading up on those items and extra toilet paper as each bathroom only comes with one roll. There was also a shortage of item like pans to bake on or bowls to mix in if you plan on making meals at home. Those picky things aside this property was beautiful and relaxing and very close proximity to the community pool and lazy river which was so nice to spend the day at! Kudos to the owners for their timely email responses! Much appreciated 😊

My stay

The resort was great everyone was very nice. The pools could have been a little cleaner. The place I rented was nice and clean but not enough pots and pans, toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels, garbage bags I had to go buy all these things. I will stay at the resort again but not through this host.

Great location, could use small improvements

PROS: The Storey Lake community is so great. The private pools along with the community pools are so great to have. The gate attendants are so nice and helpful and there are several stores close by. The layout of the house was perfect for us, and all the rooms are great size. CONS: I was a little upset to find out we needed to pay to heat the pool when “heated pool” was listed as an amenity. Thankfully our weather was nice enough to deal with it, just a little cold some evenings. There was also quite a few things missing that would have been essentials to me, like a broom, rags, counter top spray, maybe even a small vacuum. We did end up buying a broom and dust pan, so hopefully they leave that there for future guests (we also left some pool toys and an infant pool floatie). Also, the baseboards and behind beds, dressers, end tables, tops of headboards, etc. have definitely been neglected by the cleaning crew. Overall, we would definitely stay at Storey Lake again. We would also consider this same house, but may look around at some others for our next visit as well.

Perfect!

Great stay. Lovely king beds (2 - one upstairs and one downstairs - both extremely comfortable), and well-equipped overall (except for oven cooking pans). Fantastic stay - we really enjoyed it. The clubhouse is a 4 minute drive away, but there is a new one under construction that is a 4-minute walk. When construction finishes at the local splash pad, this place will be perfect. Thanks for a great stay!

Great, but….

I just think for the price you pay that you should be able to use the grill at the house for free at least 1 day. Besides that our stay was great!

Very Nice

The property is close to the parks, and Target. There are food options around as well. The community pool was nice, the kids had a lot of fun. The food there was good, drinks were excellent. The house had everything you need. The little pool was perfect to cool off, relax, and unwind. The upstairs had ants, the phone plate in the kitchen was melted, and the outdoor sofa was damaged or this place would have had 5 stars for everything.
