We stayed in this house for a week over Christmas 2023. The house comfortably fit our extended family of 11, ranging in age from 14 to 80+. The house had several gathering areas with TVs, tables and comfortable furniture, and we enjoyed use of the pool and hot tub (be sure to pre-arrange for pool heat). Champions Gate is a beautiful community with many amenities that are included with your house rental. Our group used the gym in the clubhouse, and the many walking paths throughout the community. The community pool area includes a lazy river, water slide, toddler play area, large hot tub, and cabanas for rent. We admired the facility, but the water was a little too chilly for our preference in December. Plenty of other people (especially the under 12 crowd) found the water perfectly acceptable.
The property manager made the check-in process very easy and arranged for parking passes in advance so that we could bypass the long line at the check-in gate and go directly to our home. The code to the electronic lock to the house was provided in advance and worked perfectly.
The home was clean and well stocked. You will find plenty of the basics, like plates, silverware, pots, pans and cooking utensils for your large group. Like any rental home, don't expect a lot of kitchen gadgets, so be sure to bring your own meat thermometer and garlic press if your recipes will require them.
Overall, the home was clean, well appointed, and worked perfectly for our family.
