I had been travelling for over 12 hours with three small children and upon attempting to check in, the owner never sent the codes prior to check in. They claimed they sent them, but they were never in my email... spam folder or otherwise. They also didn't correspond outside of requesting payments. If they sent them as they claimed, they would have confirmed via the app. When I showed up to the property with my children, we were unable to gain access. It took over FIVE HOURS before myself or anyone at VRBO received any response from them. VRBO at least was able to get us "comparable" (very loose term here) alternative accommodations for the night after several hour+ long phone calls. (I also had to pay extra out of pocket for this.) My oldest is highly sensitive and nearly had a panic attack when she figured out what was going on and thought we were "going to be homeless on our Disney vacation." My children were asleep for several hours at our alternative accommodations before I got the codes at 9:17pm. I attempted to get a refund for the first night, and the owner finally corresponded and refused... but did offer me 10% off on a future visit.
Other notes: Property was nice, but all the beds' boxsprings must have been very old as they were VERY creaky. Lots of bugs which was kinda gross, too.
