Questionable

I loved this property, the house, the room, the pool, the amenities, and the overall style of the house. However, some little maintenance issues could be addressed: some of the tv remotes did not work, the main fan in the living room, the burners on the stove do not work properly, the oven does not work properly, the dishwasher could probably use an upgrade (takes forever to wash and makes funny noises like it is going to break), the washer left some spots on our clothes, the pool table upstairs was not stable, the glass around the shower in the second bathroom downstairs came off track all of the time, and multiple beds were broken/not level. Just a few suggestions for future travelers to this house, bring everything down to the salt and pepper. Thank you for letting us enjoy this!

Family Vacation disappointing

The property was not as advertised. We gather in the kitchen always so an island we can sit at is a big deal for us. No stools at the property, even though current photos on the ad include them. Property managers/ owners were indifferent to our issue, and refused to put them in the house. Big deal breaker for us. In addition, missing trim on the sliding patio doors, missing transition strip on carpeted areas, stains on the carpets, a dining table that was ready to collapse, one of the rooms had no bedding and one of the kid beds was broken. It was great having the strollers available in the garage, the pool was fantastic, and the pool fence was in great shape and provided great security around the pool. The staff doing the pool checks and the garbage removal were awesome, as was the front gate staff. They were exceptional at the front gate. The house overall worked, but was far less than was advertised. And was over priced, in my opinion.

DO NOT STAY HERE. BEAUTIFUL HOME BUT FILTHY. BLOOD STAINS ON MATTRESS THATS JUST THE BEGINNING.

I was so disappointed at this property. We thought would be wonderful. It had a nice resort pool at the club house but the house itself, I’m going to post pics and video of this place. It’s a lovely home but the master bedroom had a mattress that was so filthy! It was literally 2 holes on each side. It felt like you were sleeping on the springs. We had to take the pillow shams and put under the mattress to give it some lift. None of the mattresses had protective covers and they were dirty.. upstairs in the game room, there is a blue sofa that was torn on the end. Looks like they picked this piece on the side of the road. It had “white” stains all over it. I had to get blankets to cover the entire sofa. We had small children with us and I wouldn’t let them sit on this sofa.. I constantly emailed and and called management and they were no help.

spacious house, needs TLC

very attentive management. On day two of our stay we made management aware of a few things that needed attention. Management was quick at sending someone to shampoo the carpets, housekeeper to re-clean and change light bulbs and a bug guy to spray for bugs. this home is perfect for a big family. needs TLC though. here were a few of my suggestions: carpet and rug need replacement, All the couches and some of the beds need replacement. some are worn, broken, or major indents in the beds. One last thing, the house needs to deep clean of baseboards and indoor paint job. We loved the pool area and the kitchen was amazing. The resort in the neighborhood was beautiful.

December 2019 Trip

Overall, we had a good time at this property. I was most impressed with the speed that Heather got back to us when we had questions. The house was the perfect size for our family and the game room upstairs was a big hit. We liked the game room upstairs much more so than in a converted garage. It was very nice to have the garage open so we could park our cars there. The location to the clubhouse was also convenient as it was just a short walk from the house. The neighbors were also quiet for the most part. The layout of the house was great and the kitchen table sold us on booking this property as it was very nice to have everyone eat together. There are a few critiques to this property that resulted in the lower than five stars. The first one is the overall cleanliness of the house. The carpets felt sticky and rough in some places and there was a wrapper of some food item, feathers, and a sock under the furniture. This could easily be rectified by addressing it with the cleaning staff. Also, the hot water heater was not nearly adequate for such a large house. We had to stagger our showers because after the first night we realized after one person took a shower, there was no hot water left. Which was a big deal because after a day in Disney parks, having a night hot shower to soothe the muscles is a must for us. However, overall, for the price we booked the house at, we feel it was a good value and we had a good trip. We are also glad we added the pool heat as it did get chilly and was worth it to still be able to use the pool at the house in the evening time.

Great location - house needs some work

This house is located about 15 min. from Disney and was convenient to spending days there. We have stayed in this development before, and the community pool area is very nice. The house itself could use some TLC. The carpeting needs shampooing, and the interior walls could use some paint as they were pretty dirty. There was a broken dining room chair and a sofa in the loft that had a broken armrest with a sharp piece sticking out of it. There were minimal towels and not even a salt and pepper shaker. We have rented many times from Home Away and have always been pleased, but we would not rent this home again.
