Awenasa is a Native American word that means “home”, and that’s how we felt from the minute we opened the door. Everything in the property description is correct—what you see is what you get and that’s just about everything you could possibly need for an extended stay here. And then there’s the large pool…heavenly! The host was superb. He always responded immediately, and the property company nearby that takes of the place responded very quickly to any small issues that arose. We stayed 2 months to explore Central Florida. There is so much to enjoy in the area besides Disney World, and it took 2 months to see it all!The house is a mile off the main drag in a lovely, quiet, friendly, long-established development, so there is no traffic noise. It’s perfect for walking or riding the bikes that are included. If I were ever to return to the area, this would certainly be my first choice.

Great Property

49th Wedding Anniversary

We had a wonderful relaxing week! Our grown kids and a couple of grandkids joined us on our last night and spent one night with us. The house was very clean and perfect for my husband and I. We enjoyed relaxing by and in the pool every day the most...thank you for sharing your home with us! (We never communicated with the property manager as there was no need)

Beautiful, clean, home away from home

We had a wonderful two week stay at this very well maintained home in Davenport!! Everything was a plus for us, cleanliness, lots of space, lots of amenities. There wasn’t a thing we needed, aside from our own personal toiletries. Our kids loved the over sized pool and so did the adults ! All major attractions are very close by, Disney was about a 30min drive depending on traffic!! Owners were always quick to respond with any questions and the local neighbours that we met while there were very friendly :) I would return to this rental again and again!

Great location!

Very roomy villa. Good air con. Lovely pool area with furniture. Very friendly neighbours! There are 2 Publix supermarkets within 3 minutes driving time, although they are rather pricey. Time to the parks was 25 minutes to Disney, 40 minutes to Universal. Around 90 minutes drive to Clearwater beach which was worth doing for the beautiful white beach and warm sea. The property manager is excellent and very helpful. A few things we noticed: *Pool cues need tips. *some items that were listed in the larder inventory were missing. Overall a fabulous holiday was had by us all in this fabulous villa! Would highly recommend!

A Decent Vacation Rental

It was a good space and a good floorplan for a rental. It was further from Disney than expected ... a 30+ minute drive to the parks. The pool was nice, and there was plenty of sleeping space. The kids enjoyed it. My only complaints were ... the shower in the main bedroom wasn't as clean as it could have been. There were a lot of neighbors who parked on the streets, making it difficult to navigate through the neighborhood in a larger vehicle. The pool table was scuffed up, and the pool sticks were broken. Other than those things, it was a good place for a week's vacation, considering we were only there to shower, sleep, and eat breakfast.

Fantastic pool house near all attractions

Stayed in this beautiful house in Jul 2022. Me and my family have rented many properties in the Orlando area, and this was one of the better ones. Highly recommended and it had everything we needed, and it was clean and proper.

Nice house for the price

This house is exactly how it seems in the photos, plenty of house supplies, kitchenware, towels, etc. The house did not seem to ever have cold water to brush our teeth and was gross brushing with warm water. The pool was a little bit dirty, but nonetheless a good time. The house is extremely outdated and could use an update, but for a cheap stay 30 minutes from Disney it is everything we needed. It is located in a very safe feeling neighborhood and close to many restaurants. I would probably stay at a nicer house next time I’m on vacation, but you get what you pay for and that’s exactly what we got!! Thank you Roy for being an excellent person and communicating all our needs.

Very nice house...

My family enjoyed our stay I have a family of 4 and 2 grandkids. It's big has a lot of space,I loved the kitchen, Beds are comfortable the hold house it's self was comfortable the kids loved the pool space. Winter in Davenport

The home is large an impressive. Location is great regarding proximity to grocery store; dozens of restaurants; theme parks; and major highways. Kitchen is very well stocked with dishes and appliances. The only negatives: matrices are very old; worn; and somewhat uncomfortable. Grille cooking surface rusted badly so wasn’t used; magnetic key card for tennis courts was no longer valid.

Excellent choice

The property is as described. Everything you need for a most comfortable stay. The pool in particular is very good and a lot larger than most. The owner Roy is very easy to contact and very helpful in offering advice and guidance should you need it. Roy was also most accommodating when we had to make changes to stay at short notice. There is nothing negative to be said about this property, we all had a brilliant time and would definitely here stay again given the opportunity

Property was as described. It was easy to find and well located, with nearly supermarket and easy access to main attractions. The rooms were all well sized, and the property was well equipped. There was a slightly 'musty' smell on first arrival, but this cleared once the property was aired and didn't spoil the holiday. Pool was warm and well maintained.

Really great house.

We, a family of four spent 11 days here over Christmas and are really pleased with this house. It is spacious and cleaned. Kitchen is well equipped, and the large pool was heated as agreed on. In this house we could easily spent longer time and if we return to Orlando this will be our first choice. Its central location does it easy to reach all the theme parks but also doable visit St. Petersburg and NASA for a daytrip. All contact with the landlord was prompt and friendly. We highly recommend this if you are on your way to Orlando.

Fantastic Florida Experience

The property was fantastic and was well situated, enabling a short drive to the various parks. The villa was extremely well equipped and the garage housed a nice pool table and dart board, which provided lots of fun. There were also two bikes and tennis racquets and balls. We had use of the community sports area, which had a beautiful open air swimming pool, two tennis courts, beach volleyball court, football pitch and kids' play area. Roy and Lesleys' villa was spacious and clean. The bedrooms, lounges and kitchen were clean and in good order. The pool was super and the decking area was quite large with sun beds, chairs and a table. The garden was neat with the grass being cut weekly by gardeners. We had a party of five adults and we had a brilliant stay at a beautiful "home from home." Walmart was a five minute drive away and there were excellent restaurants also within short driving distance. We thoroughly recommend this property. The property managers were Don and Fatima and they were really kind and helpful, which provides that extra support (if you need it).
