Management company was unresponsive and rude
This was the worst experience we have had renting a vacation rental home on VRBO. We had several issues with the rental home and the management company, such as:
1) Only 1 of the 8 TV's were working when we arrived. We contacted the management company to resolve the problem. They were extremely rude on the phone and we had to fight just to get them to come out and ATTEMPT to resolve the problem. There exact comment was " at least you have 1 working TV". When they finally came out for the repair they were very rude and unprofessional to the point we had to ask them to leave without resolving the problem. The worst customer service experience we have ever had in a rental home.
2) The kitchen was not equipped for a week long stay. There were no kitchen rags at all, no baking pans, only had 1 frying pan and 1 pot. We had to make a run to the store just to cook breakfast.
3) Found dead roached in the silverware drawer.
4) The living room furniture was not adequate for 7 guest.
5) The WiFi information posted in the house was incorrect.
That is some of the problems that we encountered during out stay. Hoping this helps to bring needed awareness for the rental home and management company to improve.
