The townhome was clean and comfortable for us and is in a great location. However, I am giving it three stars because the company that manages the property did not give us a great experience. It took two calls to them to get a code for the door to open when we arrived. The pool was also filthy when we arrived, and the outdoor patio light was not working. The issues were addressed timely, but they did not start our vacation out well. We had also requested pool heat, which was not turned on when we arrived. When contacted, they said I had not submitted payment through an invoice link. I told them they had asked if I wanted the card on file charged for it or an invoice sent, and I had said charge the card on file and I confirmed they should proceed. They responded that they don’t actually have the ability to charge a card on file and it was a miscommunication. They also had not added any names to our reservation at the gate, so when we arrived at 10 pm, the security guard told us we needed to return the next morning “at 9 am exactly when a supervisor is here. Not 8 am or 10 am. 9 am.” The management company said I had not provided them with guest names that I requested in the check in information, which was true. I had not because the only guest driving to the property was the one making the reservation. If they knew they did not have the proper information to allow us access to the property, a little proactive communication would have been appreciated.
