Family vacation

Stay and property were great. A few items were missing that would’ve made it 5 stars, but no real complaints. We were expecting to get our own Kleenex/toilet paper/hand soap etc when we got there, but arrived late, so had to wait until the next day. There was one hand soap to pass around to all three sinks, very little toilet paper, no tissues, and no batteries in the bedroom tv remotes. Nothing bad and I would definitely stay there again, but I feel like those things would be good to just keep there to make it extra nice. Property was wonderful. My kids loved the pool and hot tubs and it was a good size for our family of 4. Very clean. No extra frills, but perfect for what we needed. Especially after a visit to Publix nearby.

Destination wedding @ Disney!

Russell's clean 3-bedroom, very spacious condo met all of our needs. The kitchen was very well-stocked allowing us to make breakfast with ease. The natural grounds in Bahama Bay are really beautiful with plenty of walking paths. The sunset over the lake was gorgeous. We didn't get a chance to use the pools, but the two that we did see were very attractive and very clean. It was super convenient to just walk to a tasty dinner at the Tradewinds Restaurant on the premises and not have to drive anywhere. We attended a wedding and recption on the Disney properties and our own fun day at Epcot and it was an easy 20-25 minute drive to get there and back. Amidst the busy hubbub of Disney, Bahama Bay is a beautiful quiet haven! We would definitely stay here again if we return to the Orlando area! We highly recommend!!

Great stay before cruise

Communication with owner was VERY quick, he even called to make sure we were okay because there was some really bad weather in our area!! Property was very clean, comfortable. We have stayed at Bahama Bay several times so we knew we would love it and we did!

Enjoyable Stay

We stayed in this first floor unit for the second year. It is close to the pool and has a quiet lanai. There is a new washer and dryer and new wall hangs throughout the unit. The family room has a large TV and each of the 3 bedrooms have TVs. The owner is very responsive to all questions which helped make our stay enjoyable.

Perfect Trip

We spent an incredible week in this apartment. From the moment we arrived, we had all the relevant information for a stress-free start to our vacation. Everything was carefully prepared and ready for us. The apartment met our needs perfectly, the rooms are large and well soundproofed, parking is easy. We felt right at home. The location was also very easy to get to: close to main attractions like Disney and Universal Studios, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet in the evenings. The gated community watch was secure and all the staff are very friendly. The amenities offered at the Bahamas Bay Resort are incredible. We couldn't ask for anything better and would recommend this apartment without hesitation to anyone looking for the perfect Orlando accommodation. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Good for what we needed

The property is pretty cut and dry. The gated commu ity makes you feel safe and its very quiet. You arent too far from a lot of things. We spent our time at Disney and it wasnt a bad drive. Few things to note: there is not keurig, it is a coffee pot. Other than that it was great for what we needed it for.

We enjoyed our stay, we did 6 days in the parks and it was in a good location. The property was a little dirty and the dryer did not work which was unfortunate because we packed light and were planning on using it. Floors were dirty but overall a nice place.

Vacation time

The property was well presented as described, the host was most helpful, as there was/still is an issue with the safe, which sadly couldn't be rectified. The location was excellent (we have stayed at an alternative property at this site) and the staff were very polite. All in all we had a most pleasant stay, but my only comments would be regarding the cleanliness of the property. The towels were left dirty in the washing machine, there was a lot of dirt/rubbish under the beds, the floors were dirty, and the property had an issue with wildlife, over the two weeks we had Geckos, frogs, caterpillar's, cockroaches and large 3 inch black bugs in the apartment, most likely due to the small gap under the main entrance door. None of the above affected our stay, and were easily rectified. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone with mobility issues, as it is on the ground floor, with very easy access. We're looking forward to our next stay here.
