The house wasn't cleaned beyond the surface. The dishes had to be washed by hand prior to use. The top blankets for all the large beds were dirty. (We didn't use the rooms with twin beds). The Avengers room had questionable stains on the footboard. White towels had large yellow stains on them. The couch had crumbs in the cracks. Once we got up from the couch, the crumbs came up with us.

Location great. But beds not so much

The house and location itself is wonderful. There was only a few issues we had and that was the cleaning of the house was not great at all. Dust was ALL over the fans and tables. There was food crumbs all in the couch cushions, and the mold in the master shower was really bad. The mattresses were really hard. They need to invest in new ones or add mattress toppers to the current ones. The fan in the master room only works when the light is on. The hottub was great as long as you pay for the heating fees. The house Itself was only 10 mins or less to Disney and the areas we wanted to be at. The community is locked down like Fort Knox. No one is getting in without ID provided. And the clubhouse pool is the best. We all enjoyed that the most.

Great location, clean and comfortable

This property is so convenient to the Disney Parks! When we arrived, you could smell how clean the house was. There was definitely attention to detail. Everything was in working order. Extra linens, cribs for infants and plenty of space. I appreciate the door locks and gate to the pool as well. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Location and Nice House to Stay

Our first priority is the location, and Windsor Hills Resort is THE one. The resort is unbelievably large and has high-quality amenities, including a huge club house with a game room, pool and hot tub, water park, and 3 playgrounds. The house was exactly as described. The seniors do love the idea that 3 bedrooms are on the 1st floor, so they do not need to climb stairs. The kids loved the Mickey Mouse room and the Frozen room. The whole house is well-kept, clean, and full of fun, from the swimming pool to the game room. The property manager, Phill, greeted us on the 2nd day of check-in, and he was very nice. He explained why there is a fixed line on the countertop, how to use the hot tub, and answered our questions, etc. The last thing I would like to mention is that this house’s nightly rate is impressive. Overall, I will give it five stars. Would stay again!

Family holiday

Stayed in Windsor Hills which is superb. The villa was ok but in need of some TLC & a deep clean. The table & chairs in the pool area are really nice, but there is only one sun lounger (in a 6 bedroomed villa). The pool and pool edges were not clean & the sliding door is hard to slide and the runners need cleaning. Bedrooms were clean & good sized beds, but the mattress in the upstairs bedroom wardrobe was badly stained but we didn’t need to use this. The upstairs bathroom needs renovating and had cracked floor tiles & rusty plugs in the sink and bath. The kitchen has a badly cracked worktop. There was plenty of towels for everyone & a good sized oven, fridge & freezer. A great sized villa which could be brilliant. We did report some of the issues but not them all. I did take some photos if the owner wants to see some.

Great spot at Windsor Hills

Thanks to Jennifer for our wonderful stay! The house was well appointed (e.g. lots of dishes and towels, etc) and we appreciated the cleanliness. The beds were comfortable and the pool area was nice too. We were missing dish cloths and the property manager was very prompt to bring some. He answered the phone and was quick to deliver. Definitely recommend this property - great to deal with actual owners and not rent from an impersonal company. Thanks again!

Disney Family Trip

We loved the house, neighborhood and location. The owner was very responsive to our communications. The house could use a little TLC, but after speaking with the owner, it is in the works. The process of checking into the neighborhood is a bit of a pain. We were in the line for this for about 45 minutes. This would be a better process if the owner were able to take care of it on the front end. We were sent a parking pass; however were told to give check in information to the gate.

Nice property great air conditioning and pool. Excellent appliances and great location.comfortable beds. Bathroom Shower’s could be updated and also couch but overall a nice villa and had a great stay would definitely stay again.

Very dated, damage patched up, not clean in the details, inconsistent listing: 14, 13 or 12 pp max?

It’s a nice location and the pool was warm and clean. But there were some issues. Owner listed property as holding 14 people in one part of the listing, 13 on another, and 12 on the paperwork in the home. Very confusing. Wouldn’t be such a big deal but they really seemed to want to micromanage the number of people in the house. Totally their prerogative, but not conducive for a peaceful visit when family was nearby renting a second house and we wanted to have guests visit. The front walk has a lifted concrete pad just high enough to trip over. Every day when the sprinklers run water and dirt collects in the front door area so your feet get wet/dirty unless you jump over it. The counter was cracked and loose over her dishwasher, the blinds/sills in the bedrooms were beyond dusty, the kitchen floor was so sticky when we arrived I video taped the sound of my shoes as I walked around. The sliding door sills were funky and gross. There was no detergent or dishsoap, so basically just count on coming and providing all the essientials on day one.

There were 4 adults and 8 kids, plenty of space for everyone. Lots of fun with the backyard pool and hot tub, and the huge community pool. Kids loved the water slides too. Great time

Everybody liked this house

The house is exactly as the VRBO pictures shown. We had 6 adults and 5 kids from age 3 to age 75. Everybody found something they liked while staying at the house. Less than 5 minutes walk to the club house, pools, and water park. Less than 2 miles to Disney World. Would stay at this house again.

Large place in great community and location

Many things are accurate within the listing. The place is very large with great amenities. The kids love the bedroom decor and pool. The washer and dryer are great benefit. The location is great to go to Disney and many other places. The traffic is very dense in the area. Some other things to note for use to the owner/manager and prospective renters. In our opinion the cleanliness is marginal surface clean. Dust and debris is accumulated throughout the place and grim on doors and walls. Squeaky doors and beds (but comfortable) We did not see much for kids toys or games. Also the cups and utensils for kids were lacking we ended up buying plastic cups and leaving them there. Cookware was also marginal as we bought a not stick pan and left there. Not much for baking pans and sheets. Would be nice to have flexible spatulas too. As stated there is not tissue, soap etc be prepared. See previous reviews about the front gate to resort and check in. Bit of a hassle. The community is great and resort pool/playgrounds but few things to be aware again. The water slides and splash pad have very cold water. Welcome center is not friendly you have to pay deposit and fees for ping pong paddles, basketball, tennis, putting etc. They don't have any kind of shuttle to Disney as stated. Seeing fireworks from the house pool is debatable given trees. You do have awesome sunrise views ever morning with overlooking backyard but close side neighbors. Also sad they don’t keep any pool toys there. All that said we would stay here again and have recommend to our friends who will be staying there in a few weeks. Just nice to know some extra details.

Great location and quiet spot

We had a cheer comp at the convention center and this was a great, quiet spot for 3 families to spend the weekend. Communication with the owner was quick and efficient. The property was clean. Note: there was no soap/paper towels which we forgot to get but I believe this was noted in the welcome documents! We would definitely stay here again!

This property had a lot of issues. First there were cockroaches!! The AC went out on us and the maintenance couldn't come out until the morning and it was sweltering hot upstairs the kids couldn't sleep. There was a portable AC in the garage so we moved them down there with the mattresses on the floor. Very strict about parking so if you want to rent any type of sling shots or anything of that nature this is definitely not the property for you!

Disney Christmas

This listing was the perfect size and location for my family to meet up for a Christmas gathering and Disney day. The house itself was as-advertised. I communicated with the owner two weeks before our reservation and shared the details of the drivers and learned that no more than three cars could enter the subdivision. This was a problem for my family since I had five adult children traveling from various parts of the state to be with us. Nevertheless, we worked out a plan to meet at the wal-mart close by to shuttle people (and all their stuff) to the house. I don’t think I realized what a hassle this would be, so if you want to stay here, be sure you have three or fewer cars. It would have been fine if we could drive in a drop off items before parking elsewhere, but If your name was not reported to the front gate, you were not allowed in at all. This was a problem for my mom and my son, since their names were not given to the guards, only my own name (even though I provided this in adv). It took over an hour to get my family in the gates. I did call the property manager who could not help me. Only the owner can add people to the gate admittance list. The property manager argued that he did not have a reservation for my dates anyway, and insisted that the house was not ready for me. This was clear upon arrival since wet towels were draped over all chairs and flat surfaces, so my first order of business while trying to get my family admitted through the gates was to use the dryer to finish laundry service. If you think paying extra for the hot tub might be of interest, please save your money. It does not get warm enough to be considered a hot tub. I was told, due to the cold weather, that the machine could not keep up, but it was truly not working. I’ve owned tubs before and even without a thermometer, it was clearly not heating. So there was some wasted money. If you stay here during cold weather (it was in the low 30s Christmas morning) you have to request that the owners turn on the heat. We did not have warmth until the morning when the house temp was 57. Things we loved: the tv stand has a fire feature. The neighborhood was quiet. There were enough beds and bedding for our group of 13. The garage with pool table and air hockey was fun for the kids, but it was freezing due to the cold snap. If we had had small children, there were cribs and high chairs available. And it was one exit away from the Disney parks.
