Excellent

The ratio price for quality was oustanding. The property is in a really nice communty, the pool, the playroom and the facilities of the community were a plus to the fact that the property is very close to the parks.

The location of the house was great! Walmart was only a few miles away and Disney was only a short drive away. House is spacious enough for a big family with small children. the playroom was a big hit !!

This house was within 5 minutes of Walmart and great food choices. We were within 15-30 min of Disney resorts and theme parks. The house was spacious and very welcoming as far as what we needed. Something's do need updated or minor things did not work but we made do. The host was quick to respond with any questions.

Yearly family vacation

Perfect. Everything about this property was a 10/10. Location was very close to the major attractions. The house was fantastic. We had 6 adults and 5 kids in our group, plenty of room for everyone. The pool was a great hit withe the kids. The location of this home, within Windsor Hill resort was perfect walking distance to the club house and play grounds. The owner was quick to respond to my questions, even when i texted her later in the evening. I definitly recommend staying here.

Good for children

The place was conveniently close to many stores, restaurants, disney, etc. The home is a bit dated and could use a bit of refreshing in many areas. We did enjoy it though and would recommend the area. I'm not sure why there is no barbeque at the home but it would have been great to have. I asked and we could have used a community one. No thanks. All the neighbors do have them.

Disappointed

Unfortunately the pool had not been filtered for our first night stay, thus the water was disgusting. It cleared up somewhat after they turned the filter on the following morning but no one wanted to swim in the dirty water.The playroom was dirty upon arrival and we had to sweep up leftover food from previous guest. The foosballtable was broken and one of the controllers was broken for the air hockey. The placement of the property was nice.

Was enough room to fit our family and close to all the disney attractions. Kids loved the game room.Does need repairs as ceiling was leaking in downstairs bathroom. Did pay extra for pool to be heated which was not worth the money as pool did not get warm until 5 days into 7 day stay.

Very cute, lots of space, could use some updates/repairs

Overall, we are happy we stayed here. The decorations/themed bedrooms are great, there is a ton of space, and Windsor Hills is in a great location. That being said, the cleaning (floors esp) could have been better, there were multiple broken things (bathroom fans, garbage disposal, bedroom door locks), and there was room for improvement (more cooking supplies, various painting/repairs). These things were minor and we still enjoyed and appreciated the house. We did not use the pool, due to cold weather, but did notice the lack of privacy as the pool area is directly next to the backyard neighbor's pool area and the side street. Having a washer/dryer, a dishwasher, full kitchen, and plenty of bedrooms to spread out made this house a nice experience.

Great Place

We enjoyed the house a lot. I have a little girl and she absolutely loved playing in the play house and the pool. Perfect for a big group. The owners were easy to work with.

Story time

We had an amazing stay here. 14 people ages 1-55. Plenty of space and everything you could possibly need was there. Everything was just like the listing, theme rooms were great. My grandkids loved the playhouse and my teens loved going to the basketball court. Any questions were promptly answered by owners. I would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic Villa for a Disney Vacation

We recently stayed at this lovely villa, and it exceeded all our expectations! The location is absolutely perfect—just a short drive to the Disney parks, which made our trips so easy and convenient. Plus, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby, so we never had to go far for a delicious meal. The villa itself was beautiful, very clean, and well-stocked with all the essentials. It felt like a true home away from home. Our kids absolutely loved the swimming pool and the games room—it kept them entertained for hours, which gave us some much-needed relaxation time! The hosts were excellent and communicated promptly throughout our stay, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We would highly recommend this villa for anyone looking to have an stress-free and fun-filled vacation. We would love to stay again.

Rough start but settled in

Needs a little TLC. Poor communication with host on address. Sent names of occupants in 4 times. House needs a deep clean. It was dingy not necessarily dirty. Weeds around the pool. Hot tub didn’t work. Toys in playhouse were filthy. Upstairs bathroom with a leak, with a tub placed there to catch the leak and mold under the cabinet.

An amazing week

We were celebrating birthdays and graduations. There were 11 of us. This home gave us so much space and having the pool right there was fantastic for the kids. The host was always available if we had questions or needed anything. The home was close to the Disney parks which made that convenient. Thank you again Elias!

Would stay again!

Property was nice and the kids loved the theme rooms, play room and pool. There was a couple of things we messaged the owners about and they responded quickly and with kindness. Loves how close it was to Disney World and shopping. Would absolutely stay again.

Disney Family Vacation 2024

Very nice and comfortable place to stay. Very convenient to everything. Kept the kids busy and happy with the pool and game room. They had everything you would need to stay for a week. I’m sure we will rebook.

Disney Family Vacation

We had a group of 10 ranging from 1-50 of age and we all had a great time the house was amazing and the playroom was a life saver for the kids. The pool is pretty and was perfect temp and the community is beautiful, the waterpark and playground in walking distance and the clubhouse has a few groceries and food/drinks on the go. Only a quick drive to Disney or Disney springs, or about a half hour from the sea life aquarium where we spent one day. Perfect location and big rooms/bathrooms.

Excellent!

Just returned from a wonderful Disney vacation. This is the 1st time staying offsite, but will not be the last. Story-time at Windsor Hills was amazing and working with the host couldn't have been better. On our days off, we enjoyed the on site water park, which was very impressive and clean. The location to all Disney parks was perfect, and Walmart just a few blocks away. We will definitely stay there again. John & Family

Absolutely magical!!

Staying at Story Time rentals was the best decision we made for our family vacation!! The kids were absolutely in awe of the themed decor all around the house. It truly made the experience for them so magical! The house was extremely clean and very well taken care of. We were so close to Disney and loved all the amenities such as the pool. The owners were very helpful and friendly and it was very easy to communicate with them! We are already planning our trip back and our family can’t wait to come back to Story Time!

Below expectations

Overall we were underwhelmed with the property especially based on previous reviews and description of the home. We found that the unit had the following maintenance issues that could have easily been rectified prior to our arrival; - a screen door on lanai was inoperative; - toaster that was only 50% working (2 slots) - not great for a family of 11; - one chair in particular that was very uncomfortable to use as seat spring was wonky (not what I would consider “high end furnishings”; - foosball table in playroom is not functional ( needs to be replaced or removed) We also had periodic issues with cockroaches during our stay and to cap it off on the final night our grand-daughters could hear something scurrying around in the attic. They were totally freaked out and had to switch rooms in the middle of the night. We suspect it was a rodent of some description. Upon checking out a maintenance crew showed up to do home repairs which we were told specifically that it was to repair a hole in the front of the house where presumably the attic guest entered. Some of descriptions on listing are exaggerated (ie: distance to the theme parks (normally a 20 minute drive) and it lists a spa at the property - there is no hot tub at unit only at community pool. We have communicated with owner on the VRBO site earlier with our concerns but have yet to hear back. Overall a bit of a lunch bag let down. We feel as though a refund of some sort is warranted.

Big Family Disney Trip

Our family of 12 (grandparents, siblings, and kids ages 0-15) rented this for a week while we enjoyed Disney and Universal and loved it! The space was clean and the owners were very responsive to questions we had during the week and resolved a few items within 24 hours—we were impressed! The kids loved using the pool on our days “off”—it was a little chilly the week we were there (January 27-February 4), so we were glad to have added the pool heat to our reservation. Nice big space to accommodate everyone and give individual families their privacy and good sleep. The nearby Walmart was also handy. This was our first time staying off Disney property, and all agreed it was worth it! Much more economical, as we packed lunches and only paid for the food we really wanted in the parks. The cost of a VRBO was less than half of what it would have cost us to book and stay at a Disney resort, plus everyone had extra space to move and play—especially helpful for families with littles under age 5. We would rent again!
