Family Disney Vacation

Perfect place for a trip with extended family. We stayed here for a week with 4 couples and 4 kids. The house fit everyone well. The pool was great and the Star Wars themed play room was a hit. Location was perfect for the Disney parks and about 30 minutes to the airport. Lots of restaurants in the area and a Walmart up the road for groceries. On the last day we got to use the community pool and splash pad. Awesome spot with water slides and a great area for kids. Overall a fantastic place. I’d rent this spot again.

CLOSE TO EVERYTHING

The house was nice overall but there were some issues with dining room furniture (two chairs were broken and then 1 large screw was found on floor on the morning we departed) and mattresses. I would recommend the mattresses on ALL beds be replaced/updated, they are either very hard and the king beds sink in the middle, the pillows are flat on all beds we all woke up to back and neck pain that is if you could sleep. Other than that it was a great house and had everything you needed to enjoy the stay.

Wonderful vacation w all your need. Beds are soft but they are several to choice from. Carpet is dirty and needs to be cleaned. Overall great location and perfect for our quick trip.

Perfect for families

This property was ideal for our party of 11. Plenty of space. Kids loved the pool. We had a couple of issues which were resolved quickly so no complaints there. Stair carpet in need of cleaning but must be difficult to do in a popular rental property. Would recommend this property and Windsor Hills. Biggest negative is lack of recycling.

Perfect reprieve from Disney Chaos

My father, his wife and my two boys and husband and I recently went to Disney and loved our stay here! It was the perfect ending to the chaotic days at Disney and the private pool and hot tub were amazing! The children loved the game room!! It was so awesomely done and the place is so comfortable. My dad and his wife stay downstairs and upstairs. We were able to get amazing sleep each night. We took one day to try to enjoy the amenities for the community, but found that staying at the house was actually all that we needed. We did have one little toilet issue that was resolved. Super quick. Check in and check out with seamless! Thank you guys for an awesome stay.

Dream vacation!!!

Overall the house was wonderful! Plenty of room for the 8 of us. Our grandchildren loved the theater area, our son casted to the screen. Light There was one electrical outlet without a face plate but everything seemed to work. All the lights around the Star Wars mural in game room didn't light up. Pool and hot tub were wonderful. Thank you so much.

Close to Disney, Great for Our Group - pool area needs work

We had a great time at the property and it was the perfect size for our extend family's trip to Disney. It was so nice to be able to spread out and have our own spaces after spending long days together in the parks. My daughter and son loved their themed rooms and the game room got a lot of use from everyone. My one complaint would be the pool area. When we arrived it was a mess from the previous renters. They apparently went into the construction site behind the home and brougth in sand to make their own ash tray for the hottub - there was sand and cigarette butts EVERYWHERE. The hot tub also had sand and coins in the bottom of it. The pool was nice and warm when we arrived but start to lose significant amounts of water, so we called and they came to re-fill the pool. That made it super cold for the next two days. Overall a great experience, and every time we called they were there to help. I just wish people would take better care of the places they rent so that the property and people after them can enjoy more :)

Great Location

We had a great week at Disney/ Universal! In terms of location you can’t get better then this, Windsor Hills didn’t disappoint. The big main pool and Hot tub were wonderful, the water slides and splash pad were freezing but we expected that because it wasn’t a super warm week. Community felt very safe and well kept, playground was a hit. In terms of the unit itself it was spatially really nice, I have two kids under five and my sisters family has teens and there was fun for both of them there. I think the cleaning crew let this unit down a bit, there were lots of cigarette butts and ash all over the pool deck from the party before us, there were pop cans in the driveway when we pulled up and garbage on the front step and in the bushes around the property when you pulled up. There was a lot more wear in the unit then shown in the pictures, half of the wall in the game room didn’t light up, vanity drawers looked like they were falling out, the oven looked like it had taken a beating at the bottom, we couldn’t get the ice machine to drop ice so we just gathered it from the basket, and the gate around the pool didn’t seem very secure which made me nervous with a 2 year old…also there is no longer a field behind the pool, there is currently non stop construction for a new condo which made things very loud when sitting out by the pool, the door to the back did have a wonderful lock though! I feel like for as much usage as this unit is obviously getting, the maintenance needs to be more frequent. Beds were however very comfortable, the management company who sent instructions was very clear and easy to ask questions with quick responses, and we did overall enjoy our stay.

Great property

My family stayed over the New year holiday. The property was clean and very conveniently located to everything. Especially Disney. The pool was not heating properly as we had arrived, and I reached out to the property group requesting it be fixed. It was taken care of the very next day. All of the beds were comfortable and the HVAC kept the property at the temperature that we liked. The resort pool (which is heated) and shop were very nice as well. It was quite crowded, but we did go at a very busy time of the year. One recommendation I would make is to upgrade the shower heads as they are quite old. Heads up that the traffic can be a bit heavy at this time of year and travel time just to go a short distance can be a bit lengthy.

Disney family vacation

I want to be very fair with this review. The house was great and was comfortable for all 12 family members which ranged from 8 months to us the grandparents. The property was in a great location close to most the theme parks. The property owners did a great job and was prompt when we asked for them to get us an exception for us to have a 4th vehicle because usually they only allow 3 vehicles. The only thing they need improvement on is the pool heater. You had to pay extra for the heater and the water was never warm enough to swim. I will say it was extremely cold for this time of the year but no one was able to swim. Saying that, in the summer months this will not be an issue. Also make sure you bring everything with you as far as coffee condiments ect. Some VRBO will supply a small amount to get you started but this place did not. Which is not a big deal but just wanted to put that in the review. I do recommend this home for large families because it is a very nice place to stay. We would rent this location again.

Disney vacation home

Excellent property -was exactly what we expected. Met our needs and the girls loved their Frozen room. The boys loved the game room. Only two things- they could get a better housekeeping service and put air conditioning in the game room. (It was ok for us it was December and cooler but it wouldn’t be usable in hot weather). Oh and the pool was amazing!

Worst exsperience with a vrbo ever

This is just a started list of issues we had with the 2 properties togeather aince we had to move after the 1st night being attacked by bedbugs. We do have pictures to back up claims and emails

Great Place for Families!!

The location was great. Being a gated community, we felt safe. Guards at the gate were helpful. The kids’ rooms were a big hit with 6-year-olds. The water park is a blast—just get there before 6:00 pm for the slides. The kitchen’s cooking utensil choice was sparse. There was no visible Keurig so bring coffee filters. The pool appeared unkempt; the pool pump was not plugged in when we arrived. There was debris in the pool and spa—we opted not to use either (Hurricane Ian had just made landfall a couple of days earlier). The theater room (in the garage) was too hot; we can not imagine the temps in July. A simple space air conditioner from a big box store would have made a huge, positive difference in the theater room. However, the family loved the theater room even with the heat. The towel selection was great! It is also furnished with sheets making life easier than some VRBO stays. Internet service was great.

First negative review ever by me on VRBO

Where to start. 1) guards at the gate and the employees in the welcome center are rude. The lazy woman who checked me in told me I had to go into the little store/snack bar thing to get our wristbands, fully knowing she was the one that had the wristbands. The young lady in the snack bar came back to the welcome center with me to ask why the woman sent me to her. The woman didn’t respond. So I shrugged that off. 2) I waited around for an hour for my door code to work. Now I will say that I got there at 3:15 pm. So I can’t really bash them for that because check in is 4:00pm. 3) I finally get in and I’m having difficulty finding electrical outlets that worked. 4) I discovered AFTER I got there that the main selling point of this house, the game room was actually not inside the house. It was in the garage. A non-air conditioned garage. In Florida in late June early July. Needless to say it was almost unusable. I never even stepped into the game room because I have COPD and the heat was stifling in there. I went and bought an oscillating fan to put out in the game room. I left it there for the next person who unknowingly will rent this house not knowing it is in a garage. 4) the grass was at least 6-8 inches tall. They did come out and trimmed around the house and driveway, but never cut the grass. Then I’m sitting in my vehicle with the window down, and the jerk who was doing the trim came right up with a leaf blower and blew the clippings into my vehicle. I asked the guy what the hell he thought he was doing. He just stared at me like he didn’t speak English. But he damn well knew what he was doing when he blew them in my car. 5) the pool was filthy. They said it was because a storm came through the day before. OK fine. But it was filthy the whole time we were there. Holes in the screened in porch, that allowed mosquitoes to pour in at night. The cover on one of the bottom drains was off and laying on the side of the pool. And an old toy of some kind was wedged down in the pool drain. Cigarette butts on the ground around the pool. 6) We finally decide to cook a meal at the house. And when we went to use the dishwasher to wash the dishes, we opened it and old stagnant water filled the bottom of it. We ran a cycle to try to get it to drain, to no avail. The maintenance guy came to look at it, and couldn’t get it to work. 7) I’m sure the slabs at the morgue are harder than the beds in this house, but probably not by much. 8). & More

Family friendly-close to Disney

We loved our house!!! It fit all of our age ranges, it was affordable, it was super close to Disney, we loved the personal pool, and we loved the community pool. This game room was a blast, plus the kid themed rooms! We will be staying here again. Everyone was very helpful, and friendly whenever we called and needed help with anything. Very minor things wrong, a few outlets didn’t work, the ice machine didn’t work properly, some carpet stains, but other than that my whole family had a blast!!!

Nice place with a few issues.

Overall the property was as advertised and nice. We did find that several outlets did not work, the DVD player in the game/movie room did not work and when we called for assistance no one came out to help with the issue. Some of the furniture was damaged when we arrived and did break during our stay. The pool filter cover was broken in the bottom of the pool and was a potential safety hazard.

Amazing Vacation Home

My family and I (5 adults and 3 kids) stayed at this property for a week. The pictures do not do it justice - it is twice as large as it looks online. There was plenty of space for us all and we greatly enjoyed having our own pool and hot tub. We had a few minor hiccups (both due to the breakers) but management had someone come fix them right away. Would definitely stay again!

Vacation Love!!!

It was Wonderful! The house is beautiful and really felt like home! There was something for everyone! The kids loved the pool and hot tub!!! I was partial to the “Star Wars “ game room myself and there was no shortage of King sized beds in which to relax! Yes, vacation love!!
