Well lights didnt work and emailed the agent with no reply so didnt have lights in the bedroom laundry room or hallwayDoor for utility room was not fitted and left leaning against the wall by the front door. Agent said maintenance havent done it. Which let out the really bad smell of sewage from the drains so fitted the door myself so we didnt have to deal with the smell.Shutter in back bedroom broken with slats missing so no chance of a lay inAll tiles in shower loose and if you were to lean on them the whole lot would come down all of these were reported on arrival but nothing was done about it

We like this apartment and general location. What we didn't like was the karaoke down below continuing to 2.30 every morning. Very loud.

Fantastic location

Nice apartment surrounded by bars and restaurants and only 10 minutes drive to some lovely beaches. We really enjoyed our stay.

location 10/10 bars and restaurants within easy reach not a lot of noise but season hasn't started yet. The apartment was very dated needs a good overall, there was no cleaning products only washing up liquid and1t-towel the bath towels were more like guest towels and treadbare bedding was stained and a bit smelly. Our TV was on the blink but Graham was outstanding and did everything he could to sort it out. We have stayed in lots of places like this and the cleaning products (toilet paper washing powder etc) has always been supplied very dissapointed about this place

Fixtures and fittings falling off wife was ill left a week early waited for keys 2 hours notified contact didn't turn up before we left notified him put keys on table and left some locks on doors didn't work or missing

Excellent holiday apartment

Apartment was in the middle of everything, bars, restaurants and supermarket all within the Plaza. We have been coming to Alicante and to be honest Villamartin Plaza is definitely the best place we have stayed. Nice places to eat, great bars and entertainment. While we did go to the beach a few days and Torrevieja you honestly have everything on your doorstep within the Plaza. Would definitely recommend and would stay in same apartment anytime.

Disappointed

I was quite shocked to know there was no internet at the property. There were also no cups or mugs. The front door would not lock which, caused some distress. The whole property was very dated. A double bed in one room is a must. It was a very tired apartment but, a lovely location. Wooden blinds are broken in the one room and no curtains to block the light.

Good location

Great location in Villamartin and Plaza but the cleaning was really bad even though you pay 70euro and smelly pipes in the bathroom. I booked and paid in advance for five days but i didn´t get the keys the first day so still waiting for my money back.

Great location if you want food and drink

Was great location. Only thing I would improve is the apartment in terms of cleanliness and security. Patio doors didn’t lock and there was clumps of dust under most surfaces. Also the bathroom ceiling had leaked and not been fixed, no biggie, but it smelt foul all weekend. For a girly weekend it was well worth it for location and price

Everything you need a stones throw away

The apartment was well kitted out, everything you needed was there. One plus was being able to watch the acts on stage from the comfort of your own balcony, one downside was the Irish Pub beneath which did Karaoke until 3.30am! If you want a place that is in the thick of things, this is certainly the place for you, but don't expect any early nights!!
