Tranquilidad

Nos ha encantado porque es una casa muy bonita, cómoda, tranquila y la piscina es ideal. Por lo general tiene todo lo que necesitas pero tienen que tener en cuenta que la televisión no tiene canales en español y no hemos podido verla, eso es muy importante. Gracias por todo.

Excellent Villa

Villa layout and location excellent, topped off with private pool which was the main selling point when booking for a sun holiday. Contact with Mark the Villa owner from first booking throughout was great with information supplied, as was the information in the Villa regarding local Bar & Restaurant locations etc. Marcela the house keeper was always contactable to help when required, and did us a big favour contacting a Doctor to visit the Villa for us. Will hopefully return in a year or 2 and highly recommend for anyone looking for a Villa with Private Pool and close to a row of Bars/Restaurants and the weekly Playa Flamenca market. Thanks John

Lovely relaxing place to stay and explore the area

Nice, well furnished property which is within walking distance of some great bars and restaurants. Great place to relax and either keep cool in the pool or inside in the air-conditioning.

Lovely stay

Me and my family had a very nice stay in Fig Tree Villa. Good contact with the manager. Close to mercados and beaches by car. Walking range to different resturants. Overall a great stay !

Fig Tree Villa

Beautiful secluded villa, perfect size for 4 of us. Pool great, garden lovely, 2 walk in showers, air con downstairs and in the bedrooms. Just have to put some euros in a meter in the kitchen. Quiet at night to sleep, no noisy neighbours. We had a car, nothing more than ten mins drive, unless you want to venture out further. La Zenia Boulevard shopping centre is 5 mins away. Loads of good shops, places to eat, great place for a few hours. Villa martin Plaza is 7 mins away, good choice of restaurants there. Not much to walk to, only a small selection of a few bars and a couple of restaurants. But we went to Cafe Concierto, which does everything and a few mins walk. Such good value for money. But we spent most of our time at the Villa in the pool and done a few barbecues and went out also. Loved it. Relaxing and weather was perfect. Lovely lovely villa.

Adequate and almost private

We enjoyed our stay at the Fig Tree Villa, which was a perfect size for the 3 of us. It was comfortable and cosy with good facilities. Mark and Marcella were supportive and accommodating, the information provided was fantastic, the welcome pack covered everything and more. The host was generous, leaving drinks and essentials to cater for all your needs, there was a local shop and restaurants that were walking distance but unfortunately there were some negative aspects; the bed was very uncomfortable and unsuitable bedding especially if the air con didn’t work at times in the master bedroom. There was an unpleasant smell often in the downstairs toilet. What disappointment us the most was the freezing cold pool as we are use to paying for a heated pool as a result we didn’t use it much.😕

Lovely villa with private pool!

Great villa with the added bonus of a private pool, which was needed in the 30+ heat!! Villa very spacious & kitchen well equipped. Definitely need a car (with sat nav!). Lovely restaurants & bars a few minutes walk away. Mark was very helpful & hope to return one day. Al & Bernice.

Lovely villa in a quiet area but plenty to do in the area.

We had a great stay at The Fig Tree. Mark was a pleasure to deal with and was very understanding & accommodating with our various cancellations from last year due to Covid. The villa was in a very peaceful little complex and got the sun all day. We did not hire a car but there was a local Spanish supermarket 10 mins walk, a well stocked Dialprix 20 mins away and a huge Alcampo supermarket about a 20 mins walk to La Zenia shopping complex. The villa has a shopping trolley which we found very handy. There was a commercial centre with many bars & restaurants about another 25 mins walk but one of our favourite restaurants was the The Banana Tree II Thai which is only 10 mins away. This was our first visit to the area but it will definitely not be our last and we would not hesitate to book The Fig Tree again. Thank you Mark. Expect to hear from us again. Craig & Jill

Beautiful villa - the real wow factor

Mark picked us up from Alicante airport and took us to the supermaket first to stock up. When we arrived at the Fig Tree Villa we were not disappointed. It really is just how it is described and more. The gardens are well maintained and the pool a real bonus. The villa itself was beautiful, it really ticked all our boxes. Our first week, the temperatures were extremely high and the air conditioning really cooled us all down. The kitchen is well stocked so we ate in some days and out on others. The bathrooms are both well equipped for all needs. The use of the washing machine really helped and Mark put up a line to help with the drying. On our second week, Mark took us to a supermarket and also to a chemist (as one of our daughters developed a rash). He really is such a gentleman and will go the extra mile to make your stay even better. Normally after 14 days holidays, we are all itching to go home but we all felt very sad leaving. Mark took us back to the airport. If we were to sum up Fig Tree Villa in three words, they would be "relaxing", "magical" and "satisfying". If you want a truly wonderful holiday - you must come and stay at Fig Tree Villa - you will not be disappointed. Thank you Mark for all your help.

Beautiful property with pool in quiet location - result enjoyable holiday!

Beautiful property with pool the children loved. Close promity, by car to good resturants, beaches and other activities to entertain the children. Mark was attentive and helpful throughout our visit. Would definitely return again.

Perfect holiday

Loved everything about the property, location cleanliness and the aircon, the place was so quiet throughout the day which was amazing, absolutely loved everything about the holiday! Mark was exceptional, such a helpful lovely chap, helped take my son to the local chemist for sunburn. Concierto was brilliant, lovely food (book for a Sunday roast) and only 5 minutes away. I would avoid the steakhouse over the bridge, over priced and poor quality food. My advice is to stock up at Al Campo, get the beers in and enjoy From the Gardner family

Great property in a great location.

We had a lovely stay in this property. Mark was very helpful on arrival with information regarding the property and location. The house was very clean and has everything you need so really easy to settle in. We loved the pool and the extra fridge on the top floor came in really handy. Overall a great property for all your holiday needs.

Amazing

This Villa was exactly how it was described. It had such a welcoming homely feel. I genuinely could not pick fault with any part of our stay. My husband, 5 year old and myself loved our stay. The owner Mark could not have been anymore helpful. Mark was actually back in England when we arrived however was still helping us with airport transfers and his family member also showed us around the beautiful villa. We felt the Villa had a perfect location, it was quiet enough if you wanted lazy days by the pool but still had a shop and a few bars just minutes away, we loved eating at Cafeteria Concierto. We walked to La Zenia Boulevard which took a leisurely 20mins or so however there are taxi's available and at reasonable prices. We would be looking to come back to this Villa if and when we returned to the area as we loved it & Mark made everything easy & stress free. Thank you Mark, from the McCorriston's.

Lovely Villa

Property was nice, clean and comfortable with everything provided. Mark was very kind and accomodating when we needed him. Provided some essentials, including a bottle of wine, for when you arrive. Rightly or wrongly, we had the impression the Villa was closer to the beach / sea front. We appreciate that Mark would have provided transport from and back to Alicante airport. We had hired a car so didn’t take him up on his kind offer. We found locating the Villa a major problem even though we had a GPS in the car. This was not Mark’s fault but due to the identification of addresses used in Orihuela (we are both nearly 70 and that may have contributed to it also).
