  • Charming, authentic, comfortable and newly renovated, the Jungle Cottage is the perfect spot for your holidays !
    Located in the heart of Orient Bay, this cottage of 45m2 is perfect for two adults or a couple with a small family (1 ou 2 kids). The bungalow is perfectly located near the charming beach of Orient Bay, restaurants and shops (2 minutes car ride, 5 minutes bike ride or a 10 minutes walk). The Jungle Cottage is located in a secured area, with an electronic front door and a private parking.
    The house is a wood made creole inspired architecture cottage and is surrounded by a breathtaking natural tropical garden. You can admire the view of the garden in the luxurious italian inspired bathroom.
    The bedroom includes a confortable queen size bed, air conditioning and a dresser.
    You can also enjoy the air conditioning in the living room while listening to the television or Netflix ! Extra space for the kids with the sofa bed. Wifi included.
    The cottage also includes a well equipped kitchen with plenty of utilities (electric oven, vitro-ceramic cooktop, refrigerator/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, a table with four seats, etc.) and small electric appliances for your enjoyment.
    Enjoy an outdoor dining on the terrasse and the gazebo after a sunny day at the beach ! A stone BBQ for cooking and meal preparation is also available.
    Nice lightning for a warm ambiance.

Alexandra was a top notch host. She gave us a full tour upon arrival and was down in minutes when we requested dry beach towels. The jungle cottage was absolutely adorable inside and out. It felt like we we truly in a jungle with the surrounding gardens and the animals around. We felt very safe, there were two gated entrances to enter the property. I am so happy we found this place and cannot wait to get back!

Delightful little vacation cottage

Both roomy and cozy, this was an inviting little cottage in which to spend a week in the Orient beach area. Pros: Alexandra is a terrific host, extremely responsive and available, as she lives just steps away. A minor plumbing issue arose on Friday night, and it was fixed by Saturday morning. She also did a mid-week sheets and towels exchange, so we had clean linens half-way through our stay. Very nice! A combo kitchen/dining area was perfect for us with a dishwasher, roomy refrigerator and freezer, AND a washing machine for laundry. The garden and vegetation around the cottage made for a verdant stay. Even the singing frogs serenaded us at night.Cons: Not many. A few small notes that might make a difference to folks--The location is farther from the beach (15 min walk down the hill) and most Orient Village restaurants (20 min walk) than other rental options. So be prepared to walk a bit, or drive, to your activities.The A/C takes a while to cool down the house. At night, make to close all the curtains between the rooms in order to keep the cool air in the bedroom.The bathroom isn't a separate room -- it's rather open, just with a curtain separating it from the rest of the house. But it has a great shower!Overall, very happy we stayed at the Jungle Cottage, and recommend it to others!

Beautiful Jungle Cottage

Very welcoming cottage, it felt private and had fun jungle decor. Everything was as pictured and we really enjoyed our stay here. You will here a lot of birds and insects ect. Inside the house but I would stay here again.

Wir haben wirklich erholsame Tage im Jungle-Cottage erlebt. Die Begrüßung von Alexandra war sehr warmherzig. Wir haben alles was man braucht vorgefunden in einem sehr geschmackvoll und gut durchdachten Ambiente. Die Küche war gut bestückt und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders die Gartengestaltung mit Palmen und vielen anderen Pflanzen, schön und warm durch Lichtgestaltung in Szene gesetzt, hat zur guten Stimmung beigetragen. Ein Dank an Alexandra

Perfect holliday home

Good location, clean, well equipped kitchen, good bed, good wifi, perfect bbq, host nearby, beaches of Orient Bay nearby, I can highly recommend it! One point could be better: terrace in front of the house not very private. You are overlooking the path to the main house.

A Tropical Escape to the Heart of Orient Bay

Beautiful and private

This adorable cottage is very private and secure in a gated neighborhood. A nice 15 minute walk to Orient bay with shops and restaurants. Grand Case and Cul de Sac are just a 5-10 minute drive away with groceries, shopping, laundry, restaurants, and other beaches. Ally was so hospitable and helpful in recommending activities and placed to eat (we absolutely agree with her favorite brunch spot, Lulu's Corner in Cul de Sac). We would absolutely love to return!

Jungle cottage is so charming, you feel like you are at home on an island... So many tropical trees around, beautifuly decorated cottage and has everything you need. Location is perfect, private parking close to everything. Our host Alexandra and her husband, are super nice, very communicative and gave us good suggestions where to eat and what to do. We already miss it!
