The Anemone is the perfect beach rental. The view from the living room and outdoor patio is beyond amazing, even if the weather isn't the greatest. There was plenty of room in the home for us all to lounge or play games, and amenities galore! The area is quiet, and Roseanna's Cafe is just down the street on your walk to Tunnel Beach. Linda was very easy to get ahold of with quick response time to any questions and has made this a perfect home to relax in.

This house could not be more perfect! The host has thought of every little detail to make your stay in their home incredibly comfortable. The breathtaking view of the beach alone should have you booking this place ASAP. Everything was very clean, the beds were super comfortable, deck was fantastic, hot tub was so relaxing, and we built a cozy fire in the fireplace everyday! We cooked many meals in the amazingly stocked kitchen. If you like to cook, you will find every pot, pan, utensil, and appliance you need to make a great meal. We were celebrating my mom's 70th birthday and I baked a cake, but I completely forgot to bring birthday candles. I checked the cupboard and guess what? They had birthday candles! So awesome! Our 4-day stay was way too short, we had so much fun and were so relaxed, we didn't want to go home. We'll definitely be back.

This home was very comfortable and clean. It is very welcoming. My whole family and myself loved our stay there. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was immaculate and well stocked. It was wonderful to watch the winter waves from the deck or in the hottub. Access to the beach was a short walk . Would definitely stay here again.

Great vacation rental! Linda was kind and responsive all along the way. The views from the home are breathtaking! It’s a short walk to the beach and through the tunnel to the tide pools. Very cool spot. Definitely would stay again!

Beautiful, roomy yet cozy home set on an amazing spot overlooking the beach. We had a truly magical time - hot tubbing, storm watching, and just vibing with the ocean. We’ve stayed in many places in Oceanside since 1998 and this place was the best by far!Place was spotless, beds so comfortable, recliners to watch waves and tv, kitchen well-stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. We will be back!

From the front the house didn’t look all that exciting, but when you get inside it’s really lovely. It’s the most expensive vrbo I’ve ever stayed at and by far the nicest. Everything was well stocked, the views were lovely. It was great to be able to walk to the beach too. We went for a mom’s weekend and we all got our own cozy room and bed, we drank a lot of tea and did 3 puzzles (there are a ton in one of the bedroom closets). It was a really nice weekend.

Nice property, great views. Make sure you note the lock box code while you still have a signal to the Internet, because none of us could get a signal on our phones at the location. Kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, pans, appliances. Had to search for the guest book.

We first stayed in Anemone House 30-ish years ago. Wonderful deck so close to waves and high enough above beach for whale and bird watching. Easy access to beach and so glad tunnel is open again to get to the beach on the north side. Kitchen has pretty much anything you would want. One suggestion is that every room does not need a TV. Especially the twin room upstairs. That TV screen covers most the window! Please take at least that one away.

Marvelous ocean view from this very clean and organized house. The welcome basket was a nice touch. We found the layout of the beach house to enhance our family bonding and relaxation. It also allowed private time, if/when needed — especially by our 3 grandchildren ages 9, 15, and 17 — with TV in every room. There was always “more than enough” — more than enough towels, more than enough kitchen utensils and gadgets, and so on. The hot tub was a favorite spot for the family. We truly enjoyed our stay so much that we are already looking forward to our future stay(s) in this fabulous Oceanside property.

Many advantages over typical properties: stellar view, isolated with a neighboring state park, clean & well-stocked gourmet kitchen. Affordable for groups due to the commensurate rate. Exceptional host.
