3rd time here, already booking for next year

I love sitting in the living room, or in the kitchen, or on the deck just watching the tide come in over the rocky beach, seeing the tide pools and birds. I could just sit in this place all day. I also love the games and the overall ambiance. It is a wonderful place to stay

Comfy, clean, and fantastic!

This is our third year of a girls trip to this great house. It’s so very clean, beautiful views, and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. A new addition this year is a very comfy big recliner sofa. The beachcombing was great this year for rocks or small driftwood. We enjoyed eating at Catalyst and Fat Irish Pub. And of course enjoyed some ice cream at Slugs and Stones. It’s a great place for a relaxing vacation when you need to rejuvenate.

Disappointed

If you are tall, don't have a dog, and don't plan on going to the cove, then this would be a nice place to stay.PROS: Location to town, clean, no issues with plumbing or TV/internet that often happen along the Oregon coast. Large garage you can park in and the view towards the ocean are great. Was well stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, cleaners, etc. The master bed/mattress was comfortable. The whole house is decorated very nicely.CONS: If you plan to bring your pup, there is no fenced area and the yard is tiny. Also, the neighbors are really really close. You can see in each others windows. All the furniture is made for tall people. Very uncomfortable for someone 5' tall. The only place I could sit and have my feet touch the ground was the vanity stool in the master bedroom. The bathroom fans need updating and some of the lights didn't work. As for the cove/beach...the stairs to the cove were rickety, rough, and the plants are overgrown, making some steps difficult to see and the thorns catch on your clothing or scratch you and catch in your dogs fur. Then the cove is deep pebbles, not any sand, and extremely difficult and painful to walk on. This is not a good place if you plan on bringing your dog and being able to play with them outside or down in the beach/cove.

Absolutely Stunning Views!

Our stay was awesome! The big draw for me was the picture windows in the living room overlooking the ocean below, but each bedroom had ocean views, too. You can crack a window and fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the shore below—so peaceful! The master suite is really nice, with comfy king bed, and full bathroom with a separate vanity as well as walk-in closet. There is also plenty of room for other people to have their own private space as well as to enjoy community. I appreciated that there was comfortable, quality furniture everywhere, including deck seating, the kitchen table, the living room couch, and the two chairs at the picture windows. It was easy to put your feet up and enjoy the view. I liked being able to pull my truck into the garage to unload too, because we arrived in the middle of a big storm. I’ll definitely look to see if this is available again next time I’m at the coast!

This is the one

I selfishly want to have a negative review to try and hide this gem of a vacation rental. This is in the top 5% of houses I've stayed in all over the country. The house, the kitchen, the amenities, the PRIVATE BEACH ACCESS.
