"The Annex is fine for a short break but it needs a bit of updating as it’s looking quite tired in places. Because the bedroom and bathroom are in the eves of a garage the shower is very small and cramped but the shower itself is very powerful and the water is piping hot. The bed is huge and quite comfortable. "We had a lovely few days at the cottage. It was comfy and cosy and had everything we needed.Jane and Malcolm were lovely, friendly and had lots of free range hens, who our son fell in love with! "Our stay was for a surprise 21st birthday party and we were completely in awe when we arrived. The drive along the private road is stunning breathtaking views of Abergavenny and surrounded by animals. The area has such low light pollution, it was lovely to sit outside at night and see the stars so clearly. The area is private and secure as we had children with us that loved running around outside. The property has so much space that no one felt on top of me another which was lovely as there as 7...

"Overall impression was that it was lovely, a beautiful position with views across the valley. The cottage was obviously well maintained and with everything had been thought about. There were lots of places to go and to walk all not far from the cottage. Some lovely pubs close by serving good food and dogs welcome. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! "
