This was a wonderful place to stay. We stayed for 2 weeks and it is in a great location to get all around the island. The house manager Laurence was very considerate and accommodating. We loved the pool and the outside living space. Beds were very comfortable. Aruba is a beautiful place !!

The property is wonderful and in a great location. Check in process is very seamless. The kitchen and pool area are great for relaxing at the end of a beach day. The owner and manager were wonderful and super helpful as well, and we are so grateful that this beautiful place is pet friendly as we were down there to volunteer with Luna Foundation and we got to bring this beauty with us from one of the rescues for a sleepover. We will 100% be staying here again in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed this property but especially our property manager. He was extremely attentive to our needs and not only met us at the airport to guide us to the property but also followed us back as not all of our luggage fit in our rental car! 1st time to Aruba

Property was fantastic!!Just like the pictures .We loved having a private pool unlike a busy resort.The house was close to everything.The property manager Laurance was the nicest guy! So friendly and helpful.My husband requires a shower chair due to a amputated leg, We asked Laurance if he knew where we could rent one. The next day we got back to the house to find a new shower chair!!!Both the owner and Laurance messged us to see if we needed anything during our stay.We highly recommend this property and if we return to Auba, this is where we will stay.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad

Wij hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad in het huis van Raoul. Van de communicatie vooraf tot het geweldige zwembad, erg goed allemaal! Ook de locatie op het eiland is prima. Alles is dichtbij en je zit zo op de hoofdweg rondom Oranjestad. Het huis mag op een paar puntjes wat onderhoud hebben. Verder nog 1 tip: de strandstoelen zijn wat zwaar en groot. Wat lichtere stoelen zouden makkelijker mee te nemen zijn!

Aruba fun!

As a family with three teens (17,16,14) this house was perfect. Very spacious, clean, modern, excellent location and the outdoor space is wonderful. We ate breakfast at the house (and many coffees) then adventured in our jeep everyday exploring Aruba, then usually returned for dinner and night swims. A few things to note - there are no covered cups (Yeti) for the beach or pool area for cocktails. There were also no spices or condiments. The provided beach chairs are loungers so very awkward to bring to the beach. But that didn’t stop us. Make sure you rent a jeep and explore the off-road sites, caves, and natural pool (swim shoes would be helpful) and shop at Super Foods. Eagle Beach was our favorite and easy to find parking at the public lot. Thanks to Laurence for facilitating a wonderful stay. Can’t wait to come back.

Great time at 18 Ponton

This is as great place in the middle of a suburb, only 15-20 minutes from almost anywhere you want to go. The yard is walled and has a gated driveway entrance for safety. 3 large bedrooms, each with to beds joined as as King. Well furnished kitchen with all you need for cooking. Fancy built in Coffee maker took a while to learn (ignore messages to clean). Pool is salt water, without the need for chlorine or bromine maintenance. The two shaded sitting areas match the photos. It was nice to have pool towels in addition to shower towels, and folding chairs you can take to the beach. A special note has to be made for Laurence, the manager for the owner. He met us at the airport to lead us to the home and give us as guided tour. He is very friendly and willing to suggest some of the better areas to visit, places to shop, good restaurants, beach areas to avoid due to high surf, roads that are good for 4 wheels, and ones to avoid with 2 wheel drive cars. He even gave us guided driving back to the airport, with notice that we should be 3 hours early, as the process to leave actually took us 2 3/4 hours of standing in 4 different lines. At the time of our visit, they used European bathroom custom, meaning no face washcloths, or hand towels, and no tissues in bathrooms.

Amazing stay!!

The villa was exactly like we expected, pics were accurate. The pool was fabulous, beautiful outdoor space. We ate our meals outside, never used the dining room. Raoul, the property owner was wonderful, very quick to respond to our questions. The property manager, Laurence, was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The location was convenient to the restaurants and excursions. Overall we all had a fantastic time!

Winter Getaway

The house was very clean and the perfect location on the island, close to everything . Laurence the house manager was great to work with. We had a couple issues and he responded immediately and all issues resolved. The outside pool area was perfect for hanging out at the pool. Thank you we will definitely be back.

Fantastic Property in Aruba!

Raoul's place was wonderful from start to finish! We were promptly greeted by Carter at the airport and escorted to the property in order to check in. The home was very well appointed with every amenity we could ever need, and the private pool was INCREDIBLE! It was a very comfortable place to relax after a fun day filled with sightseeing and activities. We definitely recommend booking Raoul's place if you're traveling to Aruba! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Superb stay

We stayed at this property for 7 days for our spring break. Two families with two kids stayed comfortably in the house. The pool was a great hit for all of us! Property manager and owner were always very responsive to my messages. The house is located close enough to the beach and the city. I would highly recommend it! Definitely going back in the future!

Perfect and private!

The island is beautiful especially the beaches and weather....however, it is a busy island. This VRBO choice gave us a great opportunity to get away from the crowds and really relax and enjoy the heat. We did eat some breakfast, lunch and dinners out, however we also used the amazing kitchen - fully stocked with everything you need. Lots of glassware, sharp knifes, cooking utensils, pots and pans, air fryer...not to mention the Bosch coffee maker (WOW). We did not use the indoor living room or dining room area as the outdoor space was perfect for everyone to enjoy. Linens, towels, beach chairs and cooler were perfect. We hope to return to this beautiful, well located VRBO rental. NOTE: We found it difficult to make dinner reservations as everything was fully booked....next time I would make reservations before arriving in Aruba. We also rented a car.
