Stressful
Stay was supposed to be till Feb 1, was told about 72 hrs before check in that I was dealing with a management company and the owner cancelled on them. They guaranteed stay till 24th, but getting details was difficult and getting confirmation for check in was more so. Made my own New Year's Eve impossible to enjoy without knowing if I would be able to check in the following day. Didn't get a confirmation number until almost 9 pm after several back and forth texting and emailing. Then I found out I had to move from room to room 6 times in 23 days. Some just after 3 nights. Always took a day off of being able to relax, pack, unpack, barely Not exactly the relaxing 1 month get away I was expecting. I was warned about possibly having to move rooms during the stay, but this amount of times? I figured a time share maximum 4 in a 30 day period. I got 6 in in 23 days? Was able to secure my own accommodations for the remainder of my stay, and that I will give 5 stars for a quick, no fuss refund from the company for that portion. La Cabana itself is nice, other than major WiFi issues, possibly due to construction on the main pool area..Staff is wonderful, helpful rooms are overall nice, I just didn't get a chance to enjoy it like I planned.
