Clean and perfectly located to Eagle Beach

The staff was prompt and professional. We enjoyed the amenities offered. The beach chairs could be updated (broken back straps) along with the cooler (leaky drain plug) We would definitely stay here again. e trips to Aruba

Family Vacation

Great fun with the family. Quick walk to the beach and even quicker to any one of 3 pools. Very clean and accommodating. Easy check-in and out. Josh was quick to respond to anything we needed.

Good Location, Not So Good View

This property is one of many at Oceania that is managed by Prestige Realty Aruba. On the plus side, they do a great job of staying in touch with you before your arrival and during your stay. We asked for a driver upon arrival and one was waiting for us after going through customs. We also asked for their shop-ahead service and the requested groceries were waiting for us at the condo. Similarly, when we had an issue with the toilet in the master bathroom, they were very responsive to address it. Also, after the first week (of two), they had housekeeping clean everything, resupply the toilet paper, and give us a new batch of laundry soap. Kudos to Prestige and an A+ on service. There were some noticeable issues where the property owner or Prestige could have had better integrity. The most glaring problem is the view. The view off the balcony that is shown to sway you into renting this unit is NOT the view you will be getting. There is a brand new low rise going up next to Oceania and the view from this unit is a construction zone with a partially built goliath. We saw this when we first walked in, commented on it, and Prestige said, "No worries, you won't hear it." We did hear the construction (starts at 7:00 am) and you will too. Next, the mattress in the master bedroom was one step up from sleeping on the floor. It is extremely firm (no pillow top). Prestige made the mattress acceptable by putting 5 comforters on top. C minus (-C) for Truth in Advertising.

Fun in the Aruban sun

This property is lovely. Right across the street from Eagle Beach, and not very crowded at that particular part of the beach. Condo itself was as advertised - very clean, comfortable. We had a bit of trouble getting the A/C right - always bitterly cold in the main area and a little too warm in the bedrooms, but we spent most of our time outside anyway so it was fine. The overall area was incredibly clean and well-maintained, pools cleaned daily, outside areas well manicured. On-site security which we actually felt we didn't need as we felt very safe, but it was nice to know it was there. Walkable to a couple good restaurants, short drive to a number of others. Grocery store nearby. Well maintained running/walking path just across the street. Rental company was so nice and helpful and easy to work with. My only complaint would be that some more bath towels would have been nice. The bare minimum was provided - of course there is a stackable washer and dryer in the unit so we could have washed them, but it would have been nicer to just have a few spares, and especially more hand towels. Other than that, it was a great, safe, clean rental property across from an absolutely beautiful beach. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The property was in excellent shape. The unit we stayed in was very clean and well-stocked with the necessities. We did some cooking and grilling, but we ate out most nights. Eagle Beach was great and right outside our gate. I would definitely recommend Oceania Residences to family and friends.

Lackluster at best

Starting with car reservation issues at the airport, this experience in the Oceania condos/Prestige Rentals has been lackluster at best. We were told a car would be waiting, and it was not – no one from Prestige was reachable on a Saturday to assist. Once we arrived at Oceania on a Saturday around 4:30pm, there were numerous issues with the unit: • It reeked when we walked in. We were told that was special cleaning solution for their extra cleaning that they charge extra fees to do. When the smell didn’t dissipate after over 24 hours, and despite leaving sliding doors open to allow fresh air into the unit, we reported it again. The facilities manager came by and said it was probably the pipes that hadn’t been used in a while (and smelled like sewage) and they needed to be flushed out. They ran some cleaning solution down the pipes which fixed it temporarily, but it was back a day later. At that point, we just had to deal with it. • The A/C unit said that it “needed filters replaced” on the screen. To their credit, they fixed/changed the filter immediately upon us notifying them on Saturday. • The shower door in the second bedroom was literally stuck in an open position about 2 inches out and wouldn’t move. They said it was “hung” incorrectly?!? What?!? That took over 24 hours to fix because there are no maintenance staff onsite on Sundays. Red flag that the place was not properly cleaned or inspected. • The wifi does NOT reach the second bedroom – super annoying. I asked if there was anything that could be done and they said they could get an extender. That of course never happened, but I did get an email from the Assistant General manager telling me that the listing did not explicitly state that the wifi reached all areas of the condo AND that the management company wasn’t responsible for the internet anyway. If you need wifi for the “whole” unit, this probably isn’t the unit for you. • When more than one shower was running at a time, only one of them received hot water. This went on the entirety of our stay. We had a rep from the management company witness the fact that there wasn’t hot water in the showers, if you were running more than one at the same time. I was also told by the same assistant general manager that handled the Wifi issue that there was plenty of hot water, and her facilities manager “checked” and the hot water was fine.

Awesome week in Eagle Beach

We had a great time!! Raquel met us at the condo and showed us around. Everything was perfect! She gave us the best hint about using the maps.me app and we never got lost once. We enjoyed the entire island and each night we came home to watch the sunset from our balcony or the beach in front of the condo. We are looking forward to coming again. We highly recommend Prestige!

We found the property to be awesome - centrally located - 3 miles to Palm Beach, 3 miles to downtown. Property is first class and is close proximity to Passions on the Beach, a must-have sunset dinner location. Will definitely stay there again.
