"We absolutely loved our stay here. We spent a lot of time on the deck looking at the beautiful water view. Very comfortable furniture outside and inside. Tons of space for everyone to spread out if needed, well-stocked kitchen, great coffee maker. Terrific place to use as a base for exploring Cape Breton. Bonus - Jo, the property manager was terrific! "Awesome place with great views. Cottage is set up for anyone who may have forgot anything. Well stocked and very clean. We had a great time touring the area and visiting local attractions. Definitely recommend it and will keep it in our list for a return trip down the road. "

"We stayed at this property for 3 nights. Cheaper than staying along the loop and right on the water. The beds were comfortable, has all convenient amenities and a cute market not too far away. Only negative was the swarm of lady bugs inside. We would tidy up then have another one come on the counter, land on a glass etc shortly after - looked like a hive hatched in a window. "The place is good, and we had a good time in the area. The place is not right on the beach--it is about a 200 meter walk through the woods. The house is pretty remote, which can be a good thing, but every place we wanted to visit is at least an hour drive away. We did a lot of driving and spent a lot on gas. We wish we had stayed in Baddeck."

"A group of eight guys headed to Cape Breton for 4 nights and five days at Baddeck and luckily picked the best possible place to stay that we could. "This was a great adventure. It might not be for everyone but it sure was for us. There is a bit of a hike to the yurt, which made for a peaceful and secluded stay. Andrea and Clay greeted us and showed us around the place which was beautiful. There is a river right out the door that we swam in, and the yurt was so cozy inside."

"This house sits in the middle of a hayfield, set 500’ or so back from the road. Very quiet, and a secure place to let the dogs play. The house itself is spacious and comfortable, and well-equipped, including heat-pump a/c and an excellent washer/dryer in the basement.
