The Byng St property was as described - a cute cottage, built many decades ago. The owner has transformed the cottage into a welcoming, well appointed destination. Everything inside was spotless, the beds were uber comfortable and and the cooking/eating appliances were in full working order (not always the case) whilst the extras like tv and wifi were of the highest standard. important in today's world. The one problem we had was fixed immediately. For a quiet time in Orange, at affordable rates, I would recommend the cottage.

Family Friendly
Stayed here with our young family, and the space was very easy for us to use, including having good outdoor space, and a great location in Orange.

Cute Cottage
A very enjoyable stay in this cottage which is centrally located. The cottage was clean with 3 good sized bedrooms and a lovely front garden.

Cosy and cute
Stayed here in early July. Thankfully the cottage has numerous heaters and blankets. Location is convenient to central Orange, and neighbourhood is quiet. Draughty toilet is really the only downside, though likely to be less of an issue for the blokes.

Excellent location
Location was perfect and the house was beautiful decorated. The only negative is the toilet is FREEZING in winter (maybe grab a heater for winter) and the massive cracks in the wall are a bit scary, but we had a great time and it was perfect for what we needed. The electric blankets were spot on lol

Byng Street cottage.
A lovely little cottage with three big rooms, a comfortable clean double bed in each. All cooking facilities nice and handy, and a good shower. There are some cracks in the walls, but these seemed fine. Good on site parking with extra on the street. A sizeable private backyard. Only a few blocks from the centre of Orange, so no car needed to attend dinner etc. Enjoyed the stay.

Nice stay in Orange
We had a lovely stay at the property. The house was in a great spot close to everything. Two heaters in the lounge which worked really well for that area of the house and absolutely needed for winter in Orange. We had our 2 little dogs with us and they loved the backyard. We did have to watch them outside though, due to their size, as there were a few missing palings/holes in the fence which need some attention. Thanks.

Love this place
This is the 5th time i have stayed at the cottage on Byng and its always excellent .I chose this cottage every time as it is welcoming and also allows pets. My Golden retriever recognises it when we pull up and he heads straight for the yard where he makes himself very comfortable. The beds are comfortable and all the amenities are well set out

Lovely weekend stay in a cute old cottage
Friendly three bedroom cottage with everything we needed to enjoy our family catch up in Orange. Our dog loved his first holiday away with us! Look past the cracks in the walls and the coldness in the toilet and just enjoy the history and imagine the times this house must have seen. It was warm and a comfortable stay. Bathroom and kitchen both nicely renovated.

Clean and comfortable house, close to town.. Needs some attention to paintwork and it would be helpful to have a doors on lounge area to keep more cosy. Kitchen and bathroom great. Toilet well ventilated.

A great place that's close to everything
My wife and I really enjoyed our 4 night stay. We were looking for somewhere that was a close walk to town and where we could stay with our small dog. It was perfect. Really comfortable and lots of character. A great place to stay.

Quaint and close to town
Enjoyed our stay. Lovely cottage which is tired in spots but appears previous pets have done some damage to property. It was raining while we were there and the house smelt a little damp. Otherwise it was perfect for what we needed with all conveniences. And very close to town.

Cosy and handy to everything, bathroom and kitchen have been renovated, will be awesome when the rest of the house is finished.(must be doing a little at a time).

Good and bad
Inside of property was okay, e.g. cozy heater, good bedding (except for lack of pillows), good TV and wifi reception. However outside was a letdown and not maintained at all. Backyard was overgrown and grass needed mowing. Was dog friendly however we could not leave dog in backyard due to paling fence falling over and loose palings. Driveway and concrete on front verandah was badly broken due to root damage. Was heavy rain while we were there and roof gutters spilling over and driveway was a pool of water due to poor drainage. Location is good - walk to CBD. Could be so nice with proper maintenance. Would not stay again.

Perfect for our puppy
The place was good for our weekend away with our Labrador puppy. The backyard was nice and big for her to play. Given how cold it was (Orange had had the massive snow dump the day before we arrived), the heating in the main living room kept us very toasty. The bed was also super comfy and warm.

Cute cottage, old and charming, full of character, easy access to the property, beautifully renovated bathroom/laundry/toilet which was a pleasant surprise and very nice (photos on website need to be updated), very convenient location, short walk to City Centre, one of the bedrooms was missing a heater and the main gas heater in living room kept switching off making the cottage feel cold at times, each bedroom did have an electric blanket keeping us warm during the cold nights, extension cords didn't work and a few light bulbs needed replacing. Would stay again but would love see this property restored maintaining its beautiful period features

Charming cottage
The property is really well located in orange and suited our family, including dog, perfectly. It was very cold in the morning and evening so the living room fire and electric blankets on the beds were very welcome. The cottage is old and charming and it was spotlessly clean and tidy. We had all the amenities we needed. The booking process was easy. We would definitely stay again. Thank you

This house is located centrally we walked to restaurants and it only took ten mins to get to our first tasting! Backyard afternoon sun a perfect place for my border collie to run around.

We enjoyed our stay at ‘Cute Cottage On Byng’. It was a quaint little cottage, with comfortable beds and a spacious garden. It was great to have condiments for cooking and the kids enjoyed Netflix ! Hosts were great communicators. Thankyou for a comfortable stay!

As the name suggests, cute and comfortable.; well equipped; warm; homely: clean. Pet friendly, particularly for a dog, with a big secure backyard. Close to all local amenities in the CBD. VALUE FOR MONEY. Recommended.

Needs a super big clean - quite dirty
Couldn’t use the outdoor area it was so dirty. BBNQ rusted out and unserviceable. Kitchen casseroles etc dirty. Ash trays not cleaned - still had butts in them. Pillows were dirty and like pancakes - seriously need replacing. We needed to use 3 to make the height of 1 standard pillow. I get the quirky second hand meets Kmart feel but maintenance, cobwebs, dirt and lack of cooling were really off putting. The neighbours arriving home and playing music and leaving lights on al night didn’t make it any less inviting. It’s a no from us
