Anson Cottage is a convenient 1 kilometre from the CBD - an easy 15 minute walk into town, or a few minutes by car. Groundstone Cafe and Byng Street Local Store are both nearby for brunch, while Union Bank, Ferment Wine Bar and the Robin Hood Hotel are all less than a 4 minute drive away. Wine lovers can reach Swinging Bridge, Mortimers Wines and Heifer Station within 7-11 minutes, and the Orange Showground is a 3 minute drive or 13 minute walk from the cottage.

Each living area features a sofa bed, allowing the property to comfortably sleep up to 8 guests if two people are happy to share a sofa bed. Guests wishing to use the sofa beds will need to bring their own linen.
