Great location right on the beach. The condo is large and comfortable for a family of 6. Close to restaurants and shopping, but on a quieter part of the beach which makes it nice. We will return.

Well stocked kitchen, beautiful view with lovely balcony, can watch dolphins, nice walk on the beach, as a rental there is some wear and tear, clean safe building with security

Great location, roomy condo

The unit was perfect for our family. Great location. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again. The booking agency was quick to address a couple small issues we had upon arrival and was great to work with.

Great Stay

The property was as described, good location, quiet, beach was not overly busy. The space was good and clean, bathrooms are a little dated and could be updated. View from the balcony was great for watching the ocean and beach.

Love WindDrift

Our 5th year back and another memorable vacation at Orange Beach. The Wind Drift condos are great and this one didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend for anyone.

Weekend Trip

It was a perfect location for us. We have never stayed on this end of the beach. Condo was very clean. My cousin was staying in the other tower. We all had the best time.

Beach Trip 2025

We loved the location and distance to get to the beach. We liked the set up of the condo and the view from the balcony. The breaker blowing every night around 10:56 and off and on during the day was a slight problem. Not being able to wash clothes and towels was an inconvenience. The staff was very good about getting issues looked at and bringing us clean towels to use. We did appreciate that. Looking forward to coming back next summer. Thanks for everything!

College reunion

4 of us gathered for a college reunion. Windrift 501 is in a great location right on the water. It could use a little updating but everything was functional. We would rent this condo again.

Good for a quick trip-close to Florabama

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was perfect for our group of 8 for Mullet Toss weekend. Only 1 mile from Florabama. Dishwasher kept falling out from under the counter though.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family stays at Wind Drift every year. The beach is quiet, and there is plenty of room to spread out. This unit was fully furnished with everything we needed for a nice, relaxing vacation. It was clean and spacious. The Liquid Life team was easy to reach by text, and check-in/check-out was super easy.

Communication was great. The condo location was perfect but the condo itself needs some attention. I would not stay again. It looks like some DIY work has been started but never finished… Very much original to when it was built. Kitchen has been updated, but the bathrooms have not. The kitchen is a great size and has what you need. The furniture in the bedrooms are all very dated so the drawers don’t work properly and the beds weren’t made for two people. Oh, and the building next door is closed for remodel so scaffolding blocks half the view. They are also jackhammering Monday- Friday. So the peaceful ocean isn’t what you on the balcony. We still had a great week but wouldn’t book this condo again until it was updated.

Rough around the edges

This property was clean. The beds were moderately comfortable. The couches were comfortable. However, there was mold on the shower curtain, mold growing on the ceiling, missing baseboards, peeling paint, poor paint jobs, and shoddy work all around-closet doors off the rails, upside down drawers and missing stick pulls on the door blinds. Not a horrible place to stay, but if you’re looking for “super nice” keep looking.

Love Winddrift

This is my 4th time to rent from wind drift. It is a smaller complex which we like. The condo was a bit dated but they had just added brand new living room furniture which was great. It was a good value for the money and we would stay at the condo again. The chair rental people are great. They put them up at 7 and down at 6. We were very thankful to been able to go to the beach at this time. It was great!

Beautiful!

Plenty of room for our extended family group! The view was beautiful and this area of the beach is not crowded. State park right next door. The property managers at Wind Drift were extra helpful! Would recommend!!! The only issue was a leaky shower in the master bathroom. Liquid Life informed us they would send someone to fix on the first day and it was never resolved. Other than that, wonderful place!

The only down side was we were excited this complex had access to boat ramp across street. We brought our boat but we’re unable to use this facility had to store in another location which was a inconvenience. But we definitely will stay at Win Drift again.

I’ve stayed in 6-8 different units at Wind Drift - this is my LEAST favorite - needs updating. Bedroom furniture very old and not comfortable!

I love the location

I love the location, just over bridge away from most of the beach traffic. Parking lot is very limited and difficult to have room for my truck to park at times. Kitchen was roomy and well stocked. Mattresses and couches are in need of replacing but not totally worn out. Twin beds did not have flat sheets, just comforter. Each bedroom (3) had direct access to a bathroom, that was great for all of us. I would stay here again! It was clean and communication was easy.
