There is construction going on at this condo. The restrooms next to the pool were unavailable for a few days due to construction. Only one elevator working so that's fun waiting to go up and down. If construction is not going on at this condo it's next door at Lei Lani all day long. The washer is off balance. We could not wash a load without the washer banging loudly and taking forever. The Keurig didn't work needed de-scaled and there are no pods there to clean it with. Shower curtain liner in main bedroom needs replaced as there is mold on it. I purposely stayed here to get away from the crowded beaches and noise...jackhammering next door all day long. I have email's asking if construction was going on during my stay and was told no......that was a lie. Would stay at Wind Drift again just not this condo.

The condo was wonderful! We enjoyed everything! The only problem we had was there was only one elevator working and at least twice the one elevator was not working and we had to climb 7 flights of stairs. Management responded quickly.

Maintenance required

We enjoyed the condo, however the tvsdidn’t work (no power) we figured out the remotes but after 2 days they would not work. The Jack hammers and other construction noises was right in front of our door and windows. The Maytag washer wouldn’t wash a large load. We would stay again if maintenance is done.

Rest at the WindDrift

We had a great stay. The weather was great and so was the condo. It was clean and nicely decorated. The only problem we had was limited parking due to construction at the condo next door. We love staying at the Wind Drift and hope to visit again.

Great Location

Postives: The location makes the beach less crowded than other spots in the area. Check-in was easy. Unit is updated well. Negatives: Furniture appears to be outdoor furniture which is typically done to ease cleaning and increase durability, however, it's very uncomfortable. No place to put up your feet in the unit or on the patio. Bed pillows were flat and hard and scarce. Extra pillows were worse and only had zip on covers.

Mom and daughter vaca

We had a beautiful view of the water. The condo was perfect for the 2 of us. Kitchen was perfectly stocked. It was a very short boardwalk to the beach and easy to navigate for my elderly mother. Lots of nearby restaurants. 10/10 recommendation.

Fall break

Property and condo are exactly as pictured. Both very clean and well maintained. Our third time staying at Wind drift and second at this exact unit. We love this location. Very quiet and relaxing. The only improvement-and it’s a stretch to find one-the sofa and chairs are not comfortable. But we spend so little time indoors it has almost no significance.

White sands & crystal blue waters

If you can ever get past the front gate (and hats an add on if you want to park on property), it’s a well appointed condo. Simple, chic, well executed beach condo!

Too much trouble

The room was clean and the beach access was easy. It would have been just fine, but I received no less than 12 emails from the property group the day before I left and the on the day I was driving. While driving, I received alerts that they were going to cancel my reservation if I didn’t stop and send a picture of my drivers license. I got another notice with the same threat about something else. Once we checked in and drove to the condo I had to go online and pay for a parking pass as I sat at the entrance with cars behind me waiting to get in. The link didn’t work so I had to call and get help to get buzzed in. Property management for the condo said if I didn’t get it figured out within 30 minutes I’d not receive a code to get back in if I left again. It seemed rude and aggressive, especially since when I checked in they handed me my paperwork and said I was all set. I clearly was not. I think that the communication was excessive, could have been done in one or two emails and was utterly frustrating. The room itself was clean and smelled faintly of bleach when I got there. It was a nice condo and I have no criticism of the room whatsoever, but it’s not like it was the finest condo on the beach and I’ll not be back because I felt like I had to jump through hoops to get there. I also booked through the VRBO website because I was under the misunderstanding I was renting directly from the owners-not a rental company that couldn’t get their act together.

Great Vacation Spot

We had a very relaxing, quiet get away. It was spring break, but we didn’t even notice. The beach is private and was never crowded. Sliding door off of the master bedroom onto the balcony was my favorite feature. Highly recommend

condo owner "bumped" us from our stay.

6 days before we were to arrive for our vacation, the owner of the condo "bumped" us from our stay. we were told the condo was in perfect shape, the owner just chose to cancel our stay. Sad to say that I hear this happens a lot when the owner wants to stay or can make more money. Thankfully, we were able to make other arrangements and got to be on the beach.

Perfection

Beautiful condo with glorious views of the ocean! Condo was spacious and comfortable with everything we could possibly need for our week long stay. We had 2 fairly major maintenance issues upon check in late Friday afternoon. Called property manager and they sent someone out within 30 mins, and both issues were resolved within the hour. A+ service!! Awesome location, quiet beach next to a state park. Great beach service every day with chairs and umbrella up by 7am! Will definitely stay here again! We loved it!
