Clean home. Excellent hosts, quick responses and so nice! Everything was set up nicely on each floor. Private pool was clean with plenty of seating. Also there is a nice community pool. Easy walk to beach! Love our stay and will do it again!

House was great for our large family and we would book again. On the beach and has a small pool. Internet was a problem since some needed to work and had to go to Starbucks to get connected. Management responded quickly to our inquiries.

Family Beach Vacation

Our house had 12 bedrooms and our 23 family could spread out. Very attractive house with large deck including a pool.Younger kids lived in the pool when not at the beach.

65th bday celebration

I can't say enough positive - it was a fabulous vaca!!! The communications in advance were wonderful - clear - no surprises - the location is superior. So easy to be there. Clean - perfect for a large group - all ages. Thank you thank you to the whole team. Loved Orange Beach. Instacart was amazing plus easy access to quick grocery trips - fun restaurants. Safe, comfortable. We'll be back!!!!

Great Experience

Everything was Great! We had an issue with the stove. Within 3 hrs. a maintenance person arrived and fix it. Unfortunately, the fix didn't work. Once we reported the problem, they advised a replacement stove would be installed the next day, and they did. Our family has been booking houses every summer for the last 15 years. This was the best in resolving maint issues

Wonderful accommodations

Our family of 16 recently stayed at the Emerald and we were blown away with the beautiful home and everything it has to offer. Right away we noticed the cleanliness, the abundance of everything needed (3 refrigerators, 3 dishwashers, washers and dryers, kitchen areas on upper levels), dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, and comfortable and inviting furniture. Our family of 16 included 8 adults and 8 children … we had plenty of room to spread out and not get in anyone’s way! On the top 2 floors were sitting areas, which included a bathroom, that allowed one to get away to read or just look out at the ocean view. A sliding glass door gave access to a balcony, if you desired to be outside. We spent lots of time on the porch, which included many places where the adults could sit as the smaller kids enjoyed the pool. We also took advantage of the community pool when we were not at the beach. A large pool with different depths … averaging from walking into the pool to 6’. Did we have any cons? Absolutely NOT! Don’t hesitate. Book this beautiful home … you will not be disappointed!

great place and loved the area. kitchen did not have all the stuff we needed for a group of 42. it had nothing: dish towels, dish rags, only one crockpot, no large bowls for serving, etc.. we had to go buy a broom and mop because we e couldn’t find anything

Christmas family getaway

Everything was great. The house was clean and ready for us to occupy. There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy comfortably and the view was incredible. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was very responsive and left us a nice welcome gift.

Great Family Vacation!

We were a family of 17--all adults. Everyone had their own room/bath which was wonderful! 1/2 baths on every floor, too! The great room on the main floor was perfect for our meals that we cooked and loved the big, long table where everyone could enjoy their meals together. Location is spectacular! Looking out at the pool and beach was wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that you would need including plates and utensils. Anyone looking for the perfect beach getaway should book the Emerald!

Perfect Beach/Perfect Home

We had a fantastic family/friend vacation in this beautiful gated community. Communication between the owners and Southern Beach Rental Agency was seamless. It was extremely hot the week we stayed. We did have issues with the ice makers not keeping up, but we have 40 people in and out. It took one simple text to SBR and they had someone over in an hour to take a look. We had family from out of the country with us and they ended up staying an extra day, which prompted us to want to say with them. I called the owners to see if we could extend the time and late check out. Lucky for us the rental was open and the owners helped us out so we were able to spend another day and a half with family. Great experience! Can't wait to plan another trip!

Nice location

House was comfortable. Nice location, easy access to groceries, restaurants, etc. Floors, especially carpets were not very clean, a number of ceiling lights were out. Ice machines were not working. Property management was quick to respond and resolve issues but kitchen towels we requested never came.

Cottages at Romar- Emerald

Beautiful home.....great location on the beach. The house can accommodate 40 people but we had 28 with adults and kids. The house has a great layout, 3 living rooms for people to spread out, bedrooms with bunks and king size beds. The pool and deck provide nice activity area and views. Great place to vacation.

The Emerald is a lovely home that fit our needs perfectly.

We had a large group of 18, ages 2 to 66! This home fit us perfectly. We had bedrooms to spare! The private pool was a huge hit as well as the beautiful community pool directly across the street! The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. Very comfortable beds!! Extremely good communication with the host. Always got right back with us if we had a question. Fantastic location close to everything you could possibly need! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Fantastic Beach Home

Wonderful beach home! We stayed here to celebrate our parents 60th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. The home was even better than I had expected. Very clean, great location and plenty of space. Quick responses from the management team and owner. If you are considering this home book it, you will not be disappointed. The only thing I wish was different is that we would have stayed longer! We will definitely be returning.

Family Vacation

This home fit us very well! The pictures do not do it justice. We had 10 kids ages 5 to 16 and 15 adults with plenty of room to spare. The kitchen is amazing with 2 refrigerators, 2 microwaves 3 dishwashers, an island with a sink, built in ice maker. Plenty of seating for everyone at the tables. We were there for 8 nights, made many meals and had what we needed. The 8 king suites with everyone having their own bathroom worked great. Laundry, fridge and ice maker on each level. The 4 jack and jill bunk bedrooms worked perfectly for my grandkids. I am so happy my son found this home and we were able to create so many awesome memories at an area we never knew existed. And I have been to many beaches but never have I walked so much on the softest sugar sand right out the door! We will definitely come back! Thank you for such an amazing vacation! Lynette
