Great house in a great location!

We had a great time at Summer Salt 4! The location is perfect and the house was even nicer than we expected. It was perfect for our two families to enjoy spring break! Property management was attentive to our needs and took care of us. We would definitely go back and stay here again!

Girls Trip 2024

The space of the house is great. Plenty of room for everyone. We had a girls trip with 10 women. The location is perfect. We shared a pool with three other houses and it was well kept. Our only suggestion would be to put an extra mirror in each bedroom. It would have been very helpful with 10 ladies getting ready each day. Also, some beach chairs and beach towels would have been nice since we flew in. Blow dryers in the bathrooms would have nice too. Overall, a good experience and we would stay here again.

Beach vacation

This property was perfect for our family. We loved the location and convenience to restaurants and shopping. We had an issue with one of the refrigerators and someone was sent over promptly and had it cooling quickly. We will definitely stay here again.

Love Sea Salt #4

We love #4 at Sea Salt West, super private beach access! House had plenty of room and sleeping for our party, easy to access and get into unit with door code. The bunk room was a plus with all the boys in party. Only suggestion and it’s a teeny one is towel hooks are needed. In every room and bathroom door. Loved our stay and plan to return one day!

Family Time at Orange Beach

Summer Salt West 4 was a beautiful home and perfect for our family get together, and location was great. We had a great time at the beach and local restaurants. Plenty of room in the house for our family. However, the check-in process was horrible. We were offered a chance to book the night before our original check in date as the property was vacant. We declined but were advised that we could likely check in early the next day since nobody was in the unit the night before. We arrived while an attendant was in the house, checking over things, and she said she'd be about 15 minutes then we would get notification of the key code to get in. This was around 1 PM. We decided to go to lunch, came back and checked in with the rental mgmt to ask about the code. We were told there was a "work order" that they were waiting for that to be taken care of. So we decided to wait outside the property, hoping to get in before 5 PM. I called again and was told, any time now, yet we hadn't seen anyone come to the property for maintenance. At 4:55 PM a maintenance guy comes and see's us waiting, 6 adults and 3 babies under 2 .... he can't get in either, he doesn't have the code and he wasn't sure of why he was there anyway. We thought it could've been the lock, because it was a makeshift padlock and hasp. The key to open the padlock would be in a device you need a code for. He had to call the office and ask for the code and to please let us in, we'd been waiting 4 hours. He got the code, we went in and he still didn't know why he was there, he didn't know what the work order was for. We weren't happy with the lock situation, eventually we were told there was a part on order for a year to fix the door. If I were the owner of this property, I would've just replaced the door. Guests expect the home to be safe, if we locked the door from the outside and thought everyone was out of the house, someone could accidentally be locked in without knowing it. A safety concern for sure. The other issues we had with the dryer and coffee pot were remedied within a few hours, which we were thankful for. Housekeeping was good; however, the floors were filthy. Everyone had to wash their feet by the end of the evening.

Ok but VRBO fee was high plus other added fees. Base rental was good price for the size of duplex. Too many added fees. Price ended up approximately $1500 more. Cleaning fee was not worth the cost. The children had black feet after walking across the floor on the first day.

Great stay with minor things

Location was great. Close to pool and beach. We went late so we didn’t have to share the pool with anyone. For the amount of money that is charged for a cleaning fee, the house could have been cleaner such as the floors (my husbands feet were black while walking barefoot) the dresser drawers had hair and dirt in them, the vent/fan had black mold around them in both full baths. The house itself is beautiful and spacious. The trash can was broken, the 2nd floor balcony door was broken but maintenance did respond quickly to fix but had to replace the whole door so there were repairman in and out and the fridge took a bit to get cold and the light flickered like a disco ball the entire time.

Amazing

Although we thought the beach and pool was directly in front of our house, we had an amazing time at both. The house was very open and tons of space for our littles to run, we had 5 adults and 10 kids ranging from 1 to 18.

Lovely stay!! Huge house, amazing location

Lovely property and location. The check in process was easy and so was the check out process. It was a super safe area and less than 1 minute to the beach. There are 3 large houses that all share one pool. I was under the impression from the pictures that it was a pool right in the backyard but it was not an issue. This house has a lot of stairs, it was a lot to bring all the groceries, chairs, luggage, etc up the stairs but not a deal breaker. The property was lacking extra pillows and extra blankets. They had the bare minimum in the kitchen as well.

Amazing property

We absolutely loved staying at this property. It was super comfortable for our large group. The kitchen, living room and bedrooms were large and the layout was perfect. We had so much fun playing cards around the huge table. It is super close to the beach and the pool was clean and really nice.

Family vacation 2020

Location provided us with numerous good memories. Unfortunately, dryer wasn't functioning and didn't get replaced until our 4th day. We had 15 occupants. Then washer drain wasn't hooked up again after replacing dryer, so it flooded parts of the upstairs and came thru the ceiling of the main level. Young's suncoast response was to put in a work order. The owners manager is the one who responded in a timely manner. All in all we still had a good vacation and the house is very well set up.

A Great Family Place on the Beach

We had an amazing time! The property was so clean and looked brand new. We loved having the living space down and the bedrooms up. The five grandsons really enjoyed the bunk room. We were just a few steps from the pool and the ocean was not much farther. It was like having our own beach! Also loved that we had beach chairs and umbrellas included with our property. It was so easy to have parking underneath and a place to keep our beach stuff. The oldest grandson (age 9) asked if we could stay here next year! The only suggestions would be to have some chairs on the second balcony instead of a picnic table and we would have loved to have had an electric broom to sweep up each day. Would definitely recommend this property.
