I chose this property based on its location, positive reviews, and listed amenities, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations.Upon arrival, it was immediately apparent that the property was undergoing active construction—something that was not disclosed in the VRBO listing. There were workers on an aerial lift directly outside our balcony, going up and down throughout the day, which significantly impacted both privacy and our ability to relax.The cleanliness of the unit was also disappointing. There was visible hair throughout the second bathroom, and the kitchen appeared to have been only minimally cleaned. Overall, the space did not feel properly maintained or guest-ready.Additionally, the indoor pool was out of service for most of our stay, which was another amenity we had specifically looked forward to using.Due to these issues, we ultimately chose to leave a day earlier than our scheduled checkout.One concerning aspect was that, although the construction and amenity disruptions were not disclosed prior to booking, the property management company required guests to sign an agreement acknowledging that conditions—including construction and amenities—could change, and that they would not be held liable or offer refunds. In hindsight, this should have been a warning sign.Overall, this stay was disappointing, and I would strongly encourage future guests to seek clarification on current property conditions before booking.
