Family vacation

We loved the location of the property and the size of the condo! However, a couple of the amenities were not as described/broken. The refrigerator had broken shelves and did not have a handle, so anytime you opened the fridge some of your items fell out. We felt like we couldn’t enjoy the patio because of excessive rust of the patio furniture. If these things were fixed it would be the perfect place to get away!

This unit needs a little updating as well as the listing on VRBO. The sofa is not a sofa bed so this condo does not sleep 10. Fortunately my teenager didn't mind sleeping on the couch for a few days. Some other things need attention like... the kitchen table felt sticky and needs repainting or maybe a piece of glass to lay on top of it, the outdoor furniture is rusty and needs to be replaced, the rug in the living room is rolling up around the edges. Some positives: the condo was clean and the kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed having a Keurig. We would've enjoyed having an extra ice maker instead of the wine fridge. The rental agency was responsive when we had a couple of issues. Our code to the door didnt work when we arrived but it actually needed new batteries. Someone arrived quickly to change that. It was odd that they didn't know about the sleeper sofa when I messaged them about that. The check-in/check out was easy. We really liked the location of Phoenix VI. It seemed a little less congested being further down the beach. The complex was really nice. The kids enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools.

Perfect for two teens

My son and daughter are polar opposite. We have an early riser and a sleeping in child. Bedrooms were nice and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked. Dining area was a bit cramped with the table and chairs and stools. Master bedroom had the world’s squeakiest bed frame known to man. It was either that or the mattress. Either way it was loud as heck whenever anyone rolled over or got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Bathroom in the master has a very high step in. Not a problem for us but want to advise anyone that rents this it may be a bit much for some folks. The main door whistles like crazy during storms. We had one come thru in the early hours and oh my it sounded like a freight train whistle. Some weatherstripping might be in order. It was loud enough to wake us out of a dead sleep. Balcony wraps around. It’s great for storing beach accessories out of the way so you aren’t stumbling over them during your stay. Table and chairs are nice and sturdy. Walk to the beach is a bit long but the boardwalk is aluminum (no slivers!!) and there is a mat halfway into the sand to make taking a cart easier. There is a wine fridge in the unit that works great for beer (just saying :). We would stay here again. Communication with the rental agency was great all via text !! Checking in was a breeze. Lots of carts for luggage and hauling up groceries available in the lobby. Even on Saturday check in days. Ample parking as well.

Nice but needs work

The location and communication was excellent, could not have asked for better. The only minor issue was the actual rental. Towel rack in spare bath was barely hanging on the wall, one of the sliding window shades was off track, painting looked like a kid painted the walls. Did not care that beach will not allow you to set up a tent close to water but that’s my fault for not checking laws. Overall was great visit other than a few bad weather days.

Summer Kickoff and Hangout

I brought my family down for 9 nights to start the summer off and attend the Hangout fest. With a hangout bus stop right out front of the condo and the beach at our back door, everyone was able to come and go as they pleased while mom and dad got to get some R&R. We found the place spacious, quiet, well furnished and stocked with everything we could need. Loved this rental and it’s amazing location.

Great beach find!

We stayed at the property for a wedding that was hosted at the Wharf! We were about 10 minutes from the venue & about 5 from flora-bama. The property was right on the beach, which was a must for us! We had a great time & we’re close to restaurants and bars when we wanted nights out. We would definitely recommend this rental & would happily stay here again!
