We were very disappointed with the elevator service at the complex only one was working the entire week we were there and the one that was working was extremely slow. The parking lot needs major repairs and the lighting at night needs to be brighter. It appears the overall appearance of the complex needs some upgrades. Also with number of pools maybe one of the could be all adult. Thank you.

Great spot for a getaway!

Condo was clean and well stocked, pictures accurate. Comfy bed Easy check in. Great access to beautiful beach and pool is a bonus! We will be back! Would definitely recommend!

Sugar Beach Condo Orange Beach, AL

Nice 80’s-ish beach front property in close proximity to dining & shops. We were there last week of February 2025. Maintenance crews busy making updates to outdoor areas. Owner was very nice & addressed our concerns promptly.Staircase to upstairs doesn’t have handrail to upper 1/3 of the stairs. Having a 5 month old knee replacement made navigating the stairs a bit difficult.

Condo was ok, but it is NOT a beachfront as advertised.

We were not provided an entry code for our check in time, so I had to communicate with the owner so we could get in and his response was timely thankfully. Upon arrival, I was very disappointed as the condo advertisement states it is beachfront and showed pictures of a balcony view which it also claims is beachfront. I messaged the owner about this and received no response. We have stayed at sugar beach for over 5 years and love the easy walk to the beach. All in all, despite the inaccurate advertisement, it is a nice condo at a good location.

Awesome host

The condo was perfect for a couple. The pools and ocean were amazing and right on the property. The security team was always walking around and keeping an eye on things.

Convenient but not as advertised

Arrival and check in was easy as well as responsive property manager. $35 parking fee in cash with exact change necessary to park which was not in listing. Floors were sandy however not that big of an issue because we are at the beach. The view needs to be updated as now your only view is construction of the building next to the condo, quite disappointing. The "beach front condo" and the picture of the beach front view was misleading. Elevators, facilities, access to beach was great.

Super cute cozy condo directly on the beach with very personable and responsive owner

5 stars! Very personable owner & property manager. Loved staying at this affordable super cute cozy and very clean condo directly on the beach. Complex was very nice too with many pools! Bar with snacks drinks food etc on site beach side under the complex! Very convenient and also everything priced very well!!! Loved this place!!!

Great Location on the Beach

What I loved was the heated pool and the beautiful beach access. Great location across the street to the Gulf Shores State Park with hiking and biking trails. The construction of one tower is completed and they are working on the last one just outside of the balcony. The noise did not bother us too much. The bed was comfortable. The condo was the perfect size for us. We had a great time. Thank you for letting us stay.

Highly recommend!!

Very pleased with our stay here. Above and beyond clean and very family oriented. We felt very safe and secure just as if it was our own home. Very peaceful and convenient location, we also loved that it has the shack downstairs for food, drinks, floats, sunglasses, and more. Security that works the entrance also furthered our feeling of safety. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. Elevators made our unloading and loading easy too. This condominium is well worth staying at - very impressed with the affordable price as well.

Great Location!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Bed was super-comfy and location was easy to get to all of the Orange Beach and Gulf Shores spots. Multiple pool options also made swimming better for any non-beach times.

Was enjoyable but…

Condo was a little tight down stairs for a family of four. Eating meals was a bit of a challenge as we always sit and eat together. We had 4 people and 3 towels for showers. The parking is awful if you drive a big vehicle. Location was amazing, the condo was nice, and the beach access was perfect. They also had EVERYTHING that you would need to take the beach which was awesome (wagon but handle was broken, still worked and was helpful, plenty of chairs, floats, boogie boards, sand castle stuff, buckets, shovels, and nets). Unfortunately they are doing construction next door where the patio is, so there isn’t a view anymore and it was loud most of the day until they were done working.
