We enjoyed our stay and would do it again. The communication with the owner was tremendous. Heated pool, BBQ pits, and closeness to the beach were a plus.The beach view from our room was just as shown on VRBO listing, as well as all the other features. Cost of our unit (per our stay and reviews) was very much in line with what we anticipated, which is a plus.

There is a little drainage issue in the parking lot when it rains,but otherwise a wonderful vacation. Great location and very clean Balcony was perfect lots of amenities included for your stay. I would definitely stay again here.

Beach Fun

We really enjoyed this condo. The 2 bedrooms and pull out couch were perfect for our family. The location is great, a quick drive to anything you need. The owner was fantastic to work with!

Owners wouldn’t respond to requests to get the check-in info

I arrived at the property after the check in time. I had not received the check-in information such as the key code. I repeatedly messaged to try and get this information. I called VRBO support. They told me the owner had not logged in since 2024???? They canceled the reservation and refunded the money. However that left myself and two boys without a place to stay. VRBO is in the process of refunding part of the payment of the new place I had to scramble and find. And I did receive a message from the owner the next day apologizing and said there was a family emergency. While I do have empathy for the situation there should be a backup plan so there isn’t the panic for the renters not having a place to stay.

Accident waiting to happen

First of all the host messaged me she wanted show the condo bc she was selling it B4 we even got there. She wanted to do it in the middle of our stay. Then we got there to find the toilet in the master wasn't attached to the ground,the toilet in the guest room flushing handle was broke ,the window in the master bedroom ks sealed shut the blinds in the master bedroom wouldn't open , there was outlet cover missing. The elevator didn't work 4 of the six days we were there. I will never stay at a place looks ke that again

Beach was great! Property was ok.

We had a fun time playing at the beach every day. It was short walk to get there and was never too crowded, even on weekends. We were able to get the restaurants etc. within a 10ish minute drive, which was great. The condo had decent sized rooms and the two queen beds were comfy enough. The bedding for the pull out couch was all stretched out and wouldn't stay on the mattress, so be aware of that if you are using the couch for sleeping. The stove functions, but not all the burners work correctly. And heads up because I would have wanted to know this before booking, but you don't find out until after you reserve the property and they send you a message a few days before arrival - you get one packet of dishwashing detergent, one packet of laundry detergent, and whatever amount of toilet paper is left on the roll (there was no extra in either bathroom). We really splurged to make this trip happen for my kids and did not budget accordingly. The second day we had to go to the store and buy all of those things. That was a bummer because we didn't have room to fly any of it back, and we had so much extra at the end of our stay. I had never stayed at any vrbo, condo, house etc that required me to supply dishwashing detergent and toilet paper, so just wanted to mention that so you can plan accordingly. I don't think we would necessarily stay here again in the future, but the proximity to the beach was very nice and my kids had fun.

2024 beach vacation

We have stayed in the harbor place condos before and really liked the location and vibe of the place. My daughter says she has stayed in this unit before and it was great for our current stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Conference Stay

Was there for a conference next door. Condo was very clean and comfortable. Even though it is a side unit there is still a great view of the ocean from the large balcony. The owner, Cathy was great to deal with. We even extended our stay a couple of days. When we got home our daughter discovered she had accidentally left something there that was irreplaceable. My wife contacted Cathy and she said she would contact her cleaning lady and mail it to us. Thank you so much for a wonderful week at the beach! I would definitely recommend it for a place to stay! Thanks Cathy!!

Perfect

Easy walk to beach with the kids. Balcony was wonderful. Everything you need and some extras that impressed us like a beach umbrella. Very clean. Stove took a long time to boil water, but thats not why we came. Owner very responsive. Very easy parking and short walks. We hope to be back soon. Thank you!

Overpriced for what you get

This condo is definitely overpriced for what you receive. There were some good points but several bad. The bad : upon check in i checked the beds. Both had old bedding. The master had blood on the pillow case and comforter. The second bed had a literal paw print stain on the sheet and what ooked to be spagetti sauce down the side of the bed skirt. I called the property manager and she apologized and told me were to find the sheets. I changed the beds but we then had no comforters. The next day, i received a call from the cleaning lady. She asked if she could bring bedding. I helped her to change all the bedding. Still unsure of the cleanliness because she pyrchased at a yardsale and said she didn't have time t wash... it atleast appeared much better than what we had. The place has an odor as well. All towelsand rags are atained and old So the good is check in was easy No bugs seen Clean Close to beach Parking was good but you do pay for it( its just included in the hundreds of dollars of fees....

Family Getaway

This place was perfect for our trip. The space was great and everything was clean and fresh. The balcony was spacious and perfect for what we needed. This place is definitely 5 stars. I also loved the fact they had carts for luggage and supplies so I didn’t have to make more then 1 trip.

Great place to stay on the beach

The condo was much nicer in person than it was in the pictures. We loved that there was pots, pans, cups, plates, and silverware provided. All appliances were functioning very well. The condo was also very well decorated. We really enjoyed our stay. Our only notes would be that we wished the condo was a little better dusted. We were also were only left with 2 trash bags and 4 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people staying 5 days. I asked the host if there were more trash bags and she said they only provide what was needed for the stay then we’d have to buy our own. Considering that the condo has a kitchen and assuming we’d be cooking I think we could have been provided at least a trash bag a day. But overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Great stay

We stayed for spring break. Unit was just as advertised. Very happy with the location, cleanliness and the building. The master bedroom bed was so comfortable! Really appreciated the satellite TV and the wifi was the best we have experienced at Harbour Place. When traveling with teens and tweens good wifi is essential!
