Communication and check in was really easy. Location was perfect. The condo was clean. Beds were nice. The view was amazing. Only thing I’d suggest is to include a few beach towels.

Photos don't do this condo justice. Unfortunately, we had a few issues during our stay and while the property management (Sunset Properties) was phenomenal, I do think they should fire their cleaning service. More on that in a bit. First the good stuff:Pros: Check-in was super easy, staff was very friendly and buggies/carts were plentiful. The unit felt just right for our 5 day stay - good sized rooms, VERY comfortable beds, beautiful views from both oceanfront and bayside balconies. The beach closet was why we selected this property and it is FULL. Chairs, loungers, beach wagon, boogie boards, pool noodles, toys. Just about anything you could need for any age. The kitchen was well appointed, and big props to the people who had the unit before us and left water in the fridge. It was the perfect welcome after working in the July sun to unload the car. The property itself has 4 elevators with minimal waits, a racquet ball court with paddles that can be checked out at the front desk, vending machines, and several wash stations along the deck walk between the beach and pool.Cons: Upon arrival, my husband immediately went to make his afternoon coffee in the Keurig and found a filter covered in mold and sludge. We also found unclean dishes in the cabinets. That night we realized the condo was freezing. I checked the thermostat to see the fan was set to ON, and then saw the filter was absolutely clogged full. I'm convinced this caused the compressor to fail on Day 2.

July Beach Trip

The unit was exactly as advertised. Corner unit with a beautiful view. The kids loved the pool and beach access was very easy. The sleeping areas were comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the easy chair in the master bedroom for short daytime naps. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we need. The elevators were never a long wait and they were always operating. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful corner condo

This updated and comfortable 3 bedroom condo was the perfect size for our group of 7. Although we had a few days of rain to contend with, we still had plenty of tome to enjoy the beach. Overall the condo was great, and the beds were quite comfortable , although the living room could use a table or two and a lamp. My main complaint was the very sketchy tv service, and with the rain days, we were in need of a distraction a time or two.

Perfect location!

We had a wonderful stay here for spring break! The large balcony is perfect, though the new building being built on the left does obstruct your sunrise views, but other than that the view is A++! I recommend walking down to the pier for the sunset views anyway! Only complaint is we had a really hard time with the living room TV….it didn’t like to connect and it kept losing volume so we’d have to reset and pray we could get it connected again. Overall a minor issue since we were not there to watch tv anyway! The property manager was extremely helpful and very kind in helping us extend our stay an extra day. Location is close to everything but far enough down the road you skip some of the heavier traffic! 100% recommend!

NOT CLEAN AND LATE

-Condo was delayed 1.5 hr. After check in - whole unit smelled of fish - toilets had urine on and under seat. - hair on bath floor and tub. - dirty towels found in bath cabinet - comforters were stained from previous occupant. - cups/pans/utensils put away dirty in cabinet -dishwasher left full. None of these things were oversight it was mostly in plain sight. When I contacted the management co. I asked to simply have our cleaning fee waived they advised I would only be credited 1/2 of cleaning fee. The Mgr. offered to have cleaning crew come in the next day. We declined informing mgr. that we had cleaned it already. I sent some pics. And she felt that there rebate of $100 was more than sufficient. The unit itself could be wonderful with the right company managing it and maybe normally it is. However, I will not stay at another unit managed by Sunset Properties ! Phoenix VII was wonderful just not our experience with Sunset. I wish I could reach out to the owners to explain -

Phoenix VII

All the other rental properties I have a rented supply coffee & shampoo. Probably my biggest complaint would be a 4pm check in and a 10am check out. With over $500 a night, those times don't even equal 2 full day. Little things like the above would drive me to go a completely different route next time.

Meet all our expectations

We enjoyed our family vacation at this property. Everything was in working order and all the pictures and written descriptions were 100% accurate. Great ocean view, comfortable accommodations. Every morning, we watched the dolphins play from our balcony.

Enjoyable vacation

Condo we good with enough space for all. Our overall experience was good. There was plenty to do if we chose. Large negative was the elevators, constantly waiting for one despite that there were being four of them.

Great Condo on the Beach
