Beautiful property! Home is very well maintained and is in an excellent location. Private beach area is beautiful and close to both Porcupine Mountains and Ontonagon. Host and staff are readily available if anything arises and very helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay that is right on the lake. The dog gates were a surprise feature that allowed us to enjoy the deck even more. We saw several amazing sunsets and walked down the lake to visit family. Great place!! P.s. House to the left.. just FYI

A wonderful vacation home - even better than the photos suggest. The home is right on the water and just a couple minutes from the Porkies. Truly a beach house dreams are made of.Everything is super clean and very private. Beds are comfy and the kitchen is well-assembled.

Perfect location to explore porcupine mountains. Come back and relax overlooking Lake Superior with a nice fire. The house was clean and well stocked. Everything you need for a home base.

This is our second stay at Jarven Hytti and it did not disappoint. The house is very clean and comfortable with a great location. Gives you that zen feeling inside and out. It has a huge deck with a fireplace on the outside. The beach is absolutely amazing and the water is clear. One of our favorite Ontonagon stays. We highly recommend.Thank you,Peter and Lu

The pictures speak for themselves. Communication with the owners was great, they even let us know when the best chances to see the Northern Lights were. The cabin was clean, cozy and very comfortable. The outdoor space however stole the show, the sunsets on the shore of Lake Superior every night were incredible. 10/10 would stay here again.

We had a wonderful week here with our family (two adults, two kids under 5, and our dog). The biggest highlight was the location — it truly felt like having our own private beach. We spent hours swimming and hunting for treasures. One of the best parts was being able to bring our dog. Pet-friendly waterfront rentals aren't always easy to find, and it made the trip that much more enjoyable. We'd happily stay here again!A couple of things to note: the listing photos are definitely the property's "glamour shots." The home has picked up some normal cosmetic wear and tear since those were taken, but nothing that impacted our stay. And for families with little ones, there's no bathtub, and there aren't beach toys or other kid-specific extras, so you might want to pack them if you have space.

Excellent location and very accommodating cabin!

We enjoyed our stay, so many benefits! The location to hiking trails, the relaxing atmosphere at the cabin, beachfront views, and the best part would be having our working dog enjoy the entire adventure with us! Loved every second of our stay!

Amazing, beautiful stay. Was so close to everything we wanted to do at Porcupine and the scenery coming off the beach patio was the cherry on top. After busy days, to be able to come back, relax, kick up the fire place with comfort and all the things we needed. Thank you so much and we would absolutely come back if ever in the area again!
