"It is a very unique place with a beautiful spot on Portage Lake. It reminds me a bit of the "resort" in Dirty Dancing. Very pet friendly, Dollhouse was extremely clean. Any staff we came into contact with was very nice. A bit confusing at first as the whole resort is owned by different people so there was no real "check in spot" I had to call Expedia because I didn't receive any check in directions sent to me. "We were able to check in a wee bit early at this adorable studio that was so complete with amenities and IKEA supplied and decorated with anything you could need. With only one little exception… we struggled with the tv remote to work effectively until we replaced the two AAA batteries and whala!! It worked perfectly even though we didn’t watch too much tv. The pool was perfect. Access to Lake Michigan around the corner. The band on Saturday night was rock’in!!"

"This family run inn was so clean and comfortable. The rooms are really big, with small frig, microwave and small coffee maker. However they offer complimentary coffee in the office in the mornings. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will stay here again!"

"Everything was great other than some minor maintenance issues. Hair dryer was not working but couldve been solved earlier, its just that we called too late that noone is able to take care of it. Curtains are also needed to be checked, has cuts and tears. But staff was great in accomodating our needs. So thank you."
