PROS: Beautiful accommodation with spacious kitchen, water filter in fridge, great terrace for sunrise and a nice pool. Quiet location away from tourist areas, no mosquitoes.
CONS: Kitchen equipment is outdated, communication/organization was inconsistent (wrong booking assumption, checkout message 2 days early causing confusion). Despite being advertised as peaceful, there was frequent construction noise around the pool (drilling, sawing, hammering).
The main issues started after checkout:
We proactively asked how the deposit would be returned and agreed on PayPal, yet basic steps were missing (e.g. requesting email). After returning home, we were accused of stained sheets due to sunscreen with “P20” (a brand, not an ingredient), which we did not use and disproved with a photo. The “evidence” appeared staged, as sheets were already dried and placed back on the bed before being photographed. After our proof, the stains were magically gone after another wash.
We were also accused of stealing a salt shaker despite us having paid a lot for the house. In a long WhatsApp exchange we were partially mocked and charged for a wine glass already broken at check-in, plus the "stolen" salt shaker. PayPal fees were not considered, resulting in less money being refunded.
No proper checkout inspection was done, followed by damage claims after departure and a cash deposit system without platform oversight.
I would not recommend coming here.
