Perfect spot

Loved this little place in south Omaha. It was clean and very comfortable. The sauna is a wonderful touch. Close enough to the zoo that you can walk. Close enough to downtown that it’s just a short drive. We would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Modern Zen Comfort Walk to Zoo & Lauritzen Gardens, King Bed, Sauna, Kids wagon! With a family of four it was within waking distance to the Omaha zoo and gave us plenty of space to spread out for a long weekend at the zoo. The home was clean, kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals, and Tracie was wonderful at communicating with us throughout our stay. In addition to the zoo it was close to many restaurants and attractions in the Omaha downtown area. We will definitely be back next time we visit the Omaha zoo!

Cute home and comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay here. It was nicely decorated with comfortable furniture. The beds were comfortable (the screws could be tightened as they were a tad wobbly/creaky). The home was well lit (great for crafters/puzzlers/knitters). We appreciated all of the outlets for charging devices, and the lamps. Arriving to a Christmas Tree lit in the window was so sweet, as we traveled over the holiday.The kitchen was well appointed in many ways - the coffee/tea/cocoa bar was a thoughtful touch. There were plenty of plates, cups, utensils, and sharp knives. The ceramic pans were new and lovely to use. We would have appreciated having more cutting boards, especially a large one. A pizza stone or larger baking sheet would have been great as we wanted to bake Christmas cookies, but were unable to do so. The layout of the home was a little odd, but it served our purposes. The half bath on the main floor could use attention, as it appears that the floating counter/sink is pulling away from the wall. Although on a busy street, the home was conveniently located to all of the places we wanted to visit. It was nice to have a driveway as well, and not have to park on the street.

Great place, great location

We came to Omaha for the zoo and The Old Market. We could have walked to the zoo and The Old Market was a 5 minute drive. The house was great and comfortable. I’ll book again if we come back to Omaha.

Lovely Omaha trip

The place was a short walk to the zoo which was great. We had a few hiccups when we checked in but the host was very accommodating and punctual with her responses. Overall a nice stay.

So clean, comfy, & cozy!

Such a clean, well kept home! I stayed here with some friends for a weekend of shopping & dining in Omaha & we felt so comfortable and cozy! Close to everything, a walk from the zoo. Excellent communication with owners & they even sent us recommendations for dining! Would definitely stay here again!

Omaha Bliss

The house is beautifully renovated, clean, and provided all that our family needed to relax & unwind after a long day's drive. The host went above & beyond to ensure we were comfortable. Our 4y/o enjoyed exploring the backyard and most of all a wagon ride to/from the zoo (we highly recommend visiting it also!!), which was about a 10 min walk from the house. If we ever return to Omaha, we would certainly stay here again.

Perfect location, clean house, comfortable beds, all amenties needed provided, enjoyed the extras like the sound machine and Sugar in the Raw. Great house for family and friends and fur babies. Will rent every time in O.aha.

Loved it!

Loved the house. It’s an older house, but the inside is updated and modern! Tracie’s communication was amazing! She gave us several recommendations of places for coffee and to eat (Amateur Coffee was by far, our favorite coffee stop, recommended by Tracie). When messaged, she responded back very quickly! The only negative I can come up with is that it is really warm upstairs where the king size bed is (because of it being an older house?)…making it difficult to sleep up there. Spring, fall, or maybe even winter (heat rises), it would have been perfect! But not so much in the hotter part of summer. (Maybe putting a portable air conditioner up there in the summer time??) Other than that, everything about this stay was amazing!!!

Beautifully decorated - great location

Outside the house fits into the older, regenerating neighborhood. Inside it is beautifully renovated and decorated with a mix of restored original features and new. We found it very clean and comfortable. It was well equipped but not cluttered. The location cannot be beat for the zoo - it’s 1 min drive away! or, I guess, a 10min walk. It’s easy to get to from the freeway and the other direction is a straight shot drive to the Old Market, Durham museum and Charles Schwab field.

Short get away

This is a beautiful property. The property has a lot of space, beautifully decorated, and most importantly the mattresses are comfortable.The location is closed to a major highway which makes it easier to access other places. We walked to the zoo which I highly recommend. Tracie is amazing. She provided all the information we needed and kept in contact with us. Overall a fantastic place to stay.

An Oasis in Omaha

Dear Tracie, I wanted to reach out and thank you for the wonderful experience I had during my stay at your property. The property was very nice, the only suggestion I have, is to put a bathroom upstairs, and a different gate going down to the basement, having to step over the bottom rail, may pose a trip hazard.

Holiday family visit

The home is beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of pillows, blankets, towels and everything matches in the kitchen, which adds a nice touch. We loved that it was pet friendly, but wish the back yard was fully fenced (the owner told us prior to the stay that it was not closed in.

Location was terrific!!

This property was very clean, had ample room for all 6 of us, and was so close to the interstate! Too bad the weather wasn't warmer or we would have gone to the zoo and/or Lauritzen Gardens special Christmas events. The only downside was the basement stairway didn't have a door, we were worried about our 18 month old grandson falling down the stairs anytime he ran around the house.
