Great escape
Amazing place and such a lovely host. We were super happy with our stay and the location was perfect. A secluded little area but close enough to anything you want to do. We will definitely stay here again.

Spring break trip
I would say that this castle will leave you speechless with it's beauty and all the hidden gems. You couldn't ask for a better hostess than Karen. My daughter-in-law and granddaughter were completely over the moon in love with this castle! We only regret not being able to stay but one night.

Great stay!
We enjoyed our stay. It snowed while there and made it magical. The property owner was very nice and told us of the history as we checked in. It was a great place to stay if you want to get away but also be close enough to a larger town if needed. We will stay again.

Perfect Getaway
I took my guy here for his 50th birthday & it was perfect. We wanted a quiet place without all the hussle & bussle & this nailed it. Karen the host was beyond awesome, made sure we had everything we needed. Was just perfect, we will be back, great place for a wedding too :)

Unique place
Our GPS led us straight to the castle with no problem. The first thing we did was go outside and explore. My favorite was the picnic table. Inside was clean and smelled really good. It was decorated so nice for our anniversary.

Wonderful Stay
My husband and I stayed here with our two Australian Shepherds. The castle was as described and Karen, our hostess, was a delight! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend!

Spectacular
We started out renting the cottage for my family and ended up renting the suite as well. The property is so beautiful. So many places to sit, relax and take in the sights. (And watch the fireflies while listening to the frogs/birds). The castle is so quant and fun. The story behind it just adds to the charm. The units were cozy and we had everything that we needes. The host was one of the sweetest people that i have ever met. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. 5 stars is not enough for our experience! Definitely would love to come back some day.

Peaceful and Quiet
Currently live on a lake and wanted to get away with my pug for trees, quiet, and a relaxing time. Saw this listing under unique places and just had to try. Easy to communicate with owner. Beautiful property and saw deer one early evening just standing in the yard. Loved reading by the fountain on the enclosed patio. Bed was super comfy. Couch was well used and could stand to be replaced. Kitchen had all I needed. The story about why the castle was built make it special and is touching. Good food at Lilli-Hobbs bakery - got it to go. Large portions so didn’t have to cook - had two meals out of one chicken salad sandwich. Branson is 15 minutes away and Branson Landing was fun to visit with shops, river, and water fountain show. Loved paved hike at the Dogwood Canyon Nature Park and great lunch by the large waterfall. If back this way I would definitely stay again.

Truly Charming with a Great Story
We really loved our experience at this property! Karen, the on-site manager is passionate about the property and their mission. We highly recommend you take the time for Karen to give you the entire story and tour. It really gives you an appreciation for the space. She is a lovely woman with unique insight and infectious positivity - time with her will set you up for a truly delightful stay. The room is cozy and unique with all the amenities you would expect in a stunningly unique setting.

Beautiful-off the beaten path- private
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the castle! We loved listening to the story, Karen was an absolute joy! We loved watching the wildlife, we loved exploring the property. Branson was only 15 minutes away, which was convenient! The kids, even the big kids, loved all the places to take pictures ( of course lol) and places to climb. The game room was fantastic for New Year’s Eve! Thank you so much!!

The story that encompasses this property is very neat. The outside presence is beautiful & secluded. We didnt realize the owner & her son actually live in the room next to your room ( listing says they live on property) We expected owners were in another house down from the vrbo on property. Game room is a seperate building ( walk past their living quarters to get there). Just wasnt private enough for us. Very nice folks. Travelers with disabilities would be limited here & I personally would not travel solo here.

Quiet, comfy location. Enjoyed star gazing, even during snowy weather! Place could use a little updating and care around the entrances, but that’s not enough not to enjoy the nostalgia of the place and the story behind it.

Kings in the Castle
We really enjoyed our stay at Lacey Michelle’s Castle. Our kids loved pretending that they were guarding us from intruders. It is a very peaceful and whimsical property, and Karen was a wonderful host!

Staying at Lacey Michele's Castle feels like stepping out of reality, leaving all responsibilities behind and going to a long lost family members beautiful home for an over due visit. Everywhere you look you see a well thought out structure that Shelby built or a thoughtful touch that Karen added to make your stay amazing. This venue is not only pet friendly but pet welcoming. Our family does not get to vacation often and choosing the castle to stay at literally made our vacation perfect! Thank you so much Karen! We already can't wait to return.

A great little getaway- close to Branson!

Rustic, Clean and Comfortable
The cottage is set inside the “castle” walls which were rustic but beautiful. The host is wonderful and provided extra amenities as requested. The bed, linens and pillows were so nice and welcoming at the end of a long day. It’s a bit rustic but we were very comfortable there. The grounds are well kept and there’s a private courtyard area to enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine under the stars. The location is remote and peaceful but a short drive will take you to downtown Branson. We would definitely stay again!

Relaxation
We selected this property because it was a good location, had a very interesting story and was dog friendly. Upon arrival we knew we had found a gem! It was a time for us to restore and this was the perfect place for enjoying the beautiful outdoors. I came home feeling refreshed. Everything was just as described. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcomed. We give The Castle high marks!!!
