Ski House

If you are here to ski, this is a great location. The bedrooms in the house are small but the living room/dining/kitchen area is a good size and easily accommodated 6 adults and 1 infant. We enjoyed our 4 nights here.

Perfect place for a getaway!

We had a group of 5 friends stay here for a birthday/weekend getaway form SF. The property was perfect! It was clean, the directions were very clear, and we loved the hot tub! Will absolutely rent this place again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our selected property was not operational on our check in date and the transition to a "comparable" cabin was handled very well comparable cabin was not as nice as the one we selected but we were reimbursed a prorated amount for the inconvenience, really enjoyed thanksgiving with our family and happy we could include our pets, beautiful location very satisfied!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was nice for the most part. The Jacuzzi wasn't working the day we arrived so I called it in the next morning and they came out to fix it so it was up and running that night. Carpet and rugs need to be replaced in the home it would make it look a lot nicer. If you are going to visit in August, expect meat bees to be everywhere outside, it made it hard to enjoy the Jacuzzi except at night.

Needs Some TLC

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we enjoyed our stay, but the cabin has a few issues. The cabin itself is very cute and has a wonderful layout with open kitchen, dining and living room. There's lots of room to spread out and plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen was also well stocked with everything we needed. We did have a few issues with the cabin though. There was no window covering in the downstairs bathroom and the downstairs bedrooms only had sheer curtains, so virtually you had no privacy in those rooms. The comfort of the mattresses were poor, and the foam toppers didn't help much with that. There are areas (kitchen counter, bathroom floors) that have been "renovated", but the overall result has been poor and sloppy. It's a shame because the cabin has so much potential and just needs some TLC.

Good, central vacation home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this cabin at the last minute to take our kids on a getaway before school started. First, this cabin is perfectly located. Right between Squaw Valley and Tahoe City we were able to go wherever we wanted without much hassle. Second, the cabin was plenty big for our family of four plus my sister and her boyfriend. We never felt on top if one another. There is room for improvements. The coffee maker was full of algae and spider webs. The railings on the upstairs landing were wide enough for our toddler to slip through so we were constantly keeping her from upstairs. In fact, I would say this place is best for 5yo and up unless you bring your own kiddy gate. There was an issue with the hot tub heat, but we contacted the rental company and they sent someone out right away. By midday it was fixed. We enjoyed our stay, but for the money everything needs an update. It would really make this house shine.
