It’s still remains a “magic cottage” to myself and family when we stay there for a visitThe setting is just beautiful -walking to the little waterfall every day. We have always loved having the ADK's nearby, and were delighted to find this gorgeous cottage available for a quick, much-needed escape to the woods. We own a large commercial cleaning company, so cleanliness is something we appreciate...this place was spotless and so well maintained. The attention to detail was amazing... will definitely recommend it to friends, and hope to return with our first granddaughter (due in August!). Thank you to the Halloran family! BTW, the waterfall out back was an added treat!!

We stayed here for two nights in June. Good location on Eastern edge of Adirondacks. The upstairs was perfect for our teenage boys. We really enjoyed the screened in porch with picnic table.

Sometimes difficulties reveal the true nature and quality of the person with whom you are working. There was a little bit of stressful confusion at the beginning of our stay, but once we were in contact with Andrew, he took great care of us, straightening out the issue in short order and going beyond our expectations. My wife, four boys and I were very pleased with our stay. The cabin and location are both so beautiful, and upon leaving at the end of our stay, we immediately wondered when we might be able to come back again. It was a very enjoyable time for our family to catch up with each other while the oldest was home briefly from college. It was such a clean, pleasant, welcoming cabin, and we loved exploring the large territory around camp. We all went to the waterfalls behind camp, and some of the boys found another waterfall up into the ajoining state land. Can't say enough good about this place, and of the Hallorans!

The cabin was amazing. We skied Gore mountain 2 days. The drive was maybe 15 min. We appreciated the full kitchen set up. After full days of skiing we appreciated, relaxing by the fire and cooking. The waterfall behind the cabin was beautiful. It was very clean and the communication with the host was excellent. We would def stay here again.

This was our 4th time staying here. We absolutely LOVE this cabin. The craftsmanship is like no other. The view of the mountains breathtaking. The beds very comfortable. And the comfort of the cabin brings such a feeling of peace when nestled inside. It does not have a dishwasher or a television, but it is better that way. Spent our days skiing, sledding nearby, and hiking the property. Spent our evenings playing board games. Honestly one of our most favorite places to visit.

The house was cozy, clean and very accommodating. There was a lot of attention to detail. The bonus was the 100+ acres on the property to wander around on. We’ve stayed in many places in the Adirondacks but this one quickly became our favorite.

Been taking this trip for my fiancé’s birthday every year since 2020 and it’s wonderful every time. Really appreciate Andrew’s communicativeness and George & Marcia lending us their canoe! Spent all Saturday on the water and got to see a bunch of beavers, kingfishers, just gorgeous and so special. So grateful they open up their immaculate cabin to visitors. We enjoyed our stay. It was extra special to have a trail within walking distance from the cabin. I only wished the kayaks were available at the unit. Other wise the stay was great.
