"For a lodge charging $500 per night for a standard king room, we expected a peaceful, relaxing experience in the Catskills. Unfortunately, our stay was the opposite. The biggest issue was the complete lack of soundproofing. Our bed was positioned directly against the wall behind the main entrance door, so every time someone entered the lodge, it sounded as if they were coming into our room. We could hear conversations, every door slamming, and virtually all the noise from the common areas. On...

"Que experiencia más maravillosa y entrañable. El edificio te recibe perfectamente encajado en su entorno. Los propietarios son encantadores y facilitan una estancia agradable y relajante. El paseo por la antigua vía de tren al lado del río es mágico y las vistas desde el porche del hotel son bellísimas. Las habitaciones y los salones comunes están impecables y no se ha escatimado detalle en la decoración y confort. Una estancia inolvidable."

"I have nothing negative to say about my stay! The inn was clean and safe and Cinthia was very responsive and accommodating. It is a perfect location to access various hikes and other interests in the Catskills area."

"Very good"

"Si bien la recepción fue muy amable, nos pareció extraño no realizar un check in formal."

"Meadowwood is an authnetic B&B. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Tanya, the host, was very friendly and a wealth of knowledge about area activities. The breakfasts she served were culinary delights!"

"My friend and I enjoyed staying at the bunk house a lot. We didn't spend a lot of time in town or around the property but it was very charming! Everyone was really friendly and helpful with any question we had. We will definitely be interested in coming back to stay again."

"Todo limpio. Las bañeras hay que repararlas y las losetas. "

"Everyone was so kind... in the reception and also at the restaurant. "

"No juzgues un libro por su tapa...pero en este caso debes"

"Location in downtown Woodstock was great- parking was easy. Loved the rooftop patio - great place to enjoy a coffee. Rooms were very nice and large."

"The Howland House was situated in the most perfect spot in the Catskill Mountains! Very clean property, outstanding staff who never say no and go out of their way to help you.... The only thing I didn't care for, but not really a big deal, was that we had to share the 2 bathrooms down the hall with two other rooms. While the bathrooms were nice, they just weren't in the room we were staying in due to being sold out of the rooms with. The restaurant, Oliver's, was quite lovely and attached to the...

"enjoyed our stay. breakfast was nice."

"You get what you pay for - cheap, not value. Spent the first 2 hours cleaning because it was barely touched - even dining table and chairs had crumbs and spill stains. The coffee maker was black inside the water compartment. I had to pick up silverware and dish soap from the dollar store because there was only 2 forks and spoons for a place advertised for 6 and no dish soap to clean dishes. I’m confident my cleaning and items I left behind for the next guests will be reimbursed by karma. Oh,...
