"We really enjoyed our stay in one of the small cabins. Inside was comfy- the bed and pillow very comfortable. The bunk beds were really nice and comfy for the kids. Everything was clean. Convient and water kettle for tea/coffee with some drink packets and can opened provided. Small fridge that fit more than I expected, and a microwave. "The cabin was a great fit for our long weekend in the greater Lassen area. The property was accessible, and well situated in the greater landscape of the National Park and National Forest, with lots of side adventures, hikes, and things to explore, within an hour of the front door. "It's named Modern-Chic, but we would call it Comfortable Chic. The cabin has a very relaxing vibe, and perfect for a couple or even two couples. The location is great, just a few miles from the entrance to Lassen, NP. There's only one local restaurant, but we loved it. Bring your groceries from home or stop in Red Bluff, as there's no place to buy them in Mineral."

"The grounds were beautiful! We loved the waterfall and stream! There were wild blackberries along the trail to the waterfall. The owner was friendly and accommodated us when we had to extend our stay due to car trouble. There are several cool projects he's working on. We would definitely stay here again. "
