"The place was so beautifully well kept. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and we were traveling through England. This place was conveniently located near the middle of the city and about a 10 minute walk to the train station, however, it was not noisy. It was like our own little apartment away from home. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re wanting to vacation to York! We will be back! "

"Property was excellent all around. Very convenient to the train station and just right over the bridge into the town. The street was quiet and safe, and the apartment was nice and spacious. Check in staff were super helpful and the apartment was very clean and tidy. Would absolutely stay here again or recommend it to anyone travelling to York "

"I’ve stayed here a few times and it is always good value for money and easy to use, the communication with the host is good and the different choice of rooms is good. Free parking is available overnight a few minutes walk away after 6pm. Place is always clean and quiet."

"Booking this reservation through Expedia, I wasn’t expecting a full apartment. The place was very clean, and the welcome gift was appreciated. The portable AC unit worked great, and I appreciated the Dyson fan in the bedroom. There’s no view, and it was a little noisy when other residents were leaving for work in the morning and trucks were driving by, but the perks outweighed the negatives. "needed a well needed rest after a busy year.After a long search of hotels around york we found this beautiful cottage just outside york,and needless to say it was just what we needed.lovely cottaged estate.we booked the 3 bedroomed cottage,fairview i think it was called.beautiful inside and out.no expense spared on the inside,very relaxing.we are already thinking about booking next year.would highly recommend."

"Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space."
