Most notable regarding this home is the spectacular view. Our entire family spent most of our week on the patio and the terrace. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The cottage has loads of charm. It just feels like Sardinia. Everyone in the family loved having their own unique space. There is a bonus space beneath the terrace that our 24 year old son absolutely loved. The home is centrally located to so many amazing things to do. The hosts are welcoming, accommodating and helpful. The check-in/check-out process was very easy even with our delayed flights. We were all sad to have to leave.

Cozy house with a besutiful view

We had a really great time here! The house on the inside is cozy, authentic, and had everything we needed. Our favourite thing about our stay was the view from the garden though, it was lovely to wake up to each morning. There isn‘t a pool but there is an outdoor shower and a hoze to cool yourself off with. The nearby beach (although it‘s not quite as close as we thought, we prefered taking the car to walking there) was absolutely perfect for our 3 y/o daughter. Very flat, no waves and perfectly clear. It‘s predictably busy but we loved it anyway. The communication with Miche and his family was also super friendly and welcoming, we definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic View-Green, mediterranean, blue waters, islands - and two great places to enjoy this view

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Simona was there personal to show us the house. Pasta, Sauce, Wine and Beer was there for the first evening. No need for shoping. Very cosy, individual, house with lots of little details to discover. We never had so many glases, plates and cutlery in a rental house. And beautiful items, no Ikea stuff. It is very clear, that this house is used by the owners as well and is not designed for rental only. Very clean and..... it smells very good. After wood, herbs, nature. Extremely quiet as well (apart from the occasionally barks of dogs, never at night, and always stoping after a few mintes), no traffic sounds. Actually one very quiet morning i noticed a traffic sound. I could hear the engine of a boat, which was about 5 kilometers from the house. leaving its anchorage. It was so quiet, that i heard this boat over such a distance. The garden and the views are fantastic, and the covered lounge area is absolutely great. Best views are from the front porch (former pool?). It was an very, very nice experience to stay in this house. We will defintetly return! Thanks Simona e Michelangelo (Our high expectations, when learning the names of the owner, were fully met)

Mesmerizing

The views were mesmerizing from the outdoor terraces. We had a very peaceful and serene stay at this villa. Cooked meals there enjoying the outdoor dining, enjoyed sunrise and sunsets and the outdoor shower.

A piece of paradise

Firstly I would like to thank Simona and Michelangelo for sharing their stunning property. The photos don't do the property justice. The house is traditional, it is decorated with style and with complete comfort in mind. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with the option of an outdoor kitchen to make meals. There are three places to dine which is perfect to have either a shady lunch or dinner with a view of the sea. The bedrooms are all well appointment and beds are very comfortable. We spent most of the days on the veranda which has sitting for everyone, and the view across the bay with stunning. There is a hidden away hammock for a quiet read. My husband and I have stayed at many villas across the years with our family, and this one has to go down as one of the best. Thank you for much again, and we will definitely be back.

We loved this place and it’s spectacular setting

This was a wonderful Sardinian escape. The view from the home is spectacular and so peaceful. The home has lots of nice places to sit and gather if you’re traveling with a group. We loved everything about it. The decor is impeccable. It’s obvious that the owners have put a lot of time and effort into decorating the home and it feels like a really warm rustic Sardinian retreat. The gardens and flowers were really beautiful as well as the outdoor seating. At night the moon reflects off the sea and it is so quiet and restful. The beach was approximately 15 minute walk and the beach is spectacular

Heerlijk huis op een supermooie locatie

Huiseigenaar was zeer vriendelijk, deed niet moeilijk dat we eerder in wilden checken en een paar uur later uit mochten checken. Alles was aanwezig in de woning. Een minpuntje, de bedden waren erg hard.

Fabelhaft / FAVOLOSO

Die Vermieter, Simona & Michelangelo, sind sehr nette, hilfsbereite und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Das Ferienhaus war sauber, schön, gut eingerichtet und sehr ruhig gelegen, uns hat es nichts gefehlt. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend, auf italienisch da MOZZAFIATO. Auch die Gegend rund um Porto Istana ist sehr schön und es fehlt an nichts. Wir hatten und haben nichts zu bemängeln und sind rundum zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Das Ferienhaus und die Gastgeber sind sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen gerne wieder. schönes Haus, tolle Aussicht

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Porto Istana sehr genossen. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist atemberaubend, man will am liebsten die ganze Zeit übers Meer und die kleinen Inseln schauen. Das Haus hat ausreichend Platz für 8 Personen, einen schönen Garten, ist komplett ausgestattet und hat mit Simona und Michelangelo hervorragende Gastgeber. Michelangelo spricht sehr gut englisch und war jederzeit ansprechbar für Fragen. Einmal funktionierte die Spülung einer Toilette nicht, prompt war innerhalb kürzester Zeit ein Klempner da und hat es repariert. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können es nur weiterempfehlen.
