It was a beautiful place to stay with 10 family members. We saw seals, otter, eagles and an Orca, which was just magical. The 2 upstairs rooms with king beds do not have window coverings, so although its a great view, you may want bring some eye masks. We bought all our food before we arrived, and later realized that there is a Coscto about 15 min away. We went to the Olalla Winery which was so lovely and a must see. Then we ventured into Gig Harbor, which was very fun also. A few members did use the kayak and we had brought a paddle board that they used on a calm day. The 2 decks were good hang out spaces. Overall, a wonderful trip and would recommend!

Beautiful house, lots of rooms and very modern/updated bathrooms and amenities. Owner is extremely responsive. Lots of wildlife viewing! Great place.

Annie was spot on when she said our grandchildren would love her beautiful home and beach! Endless entertainment for the whole family steps from the kitchen - beachcombing for crabs, walking to the Olalla Market for treats at low tide, splashing in the community sand beach, and successful kayak fishing. We saw the eagle daily that nests close by, seals with their seal pups and a porpoise pod in the distance. Way cool. Thanks, Annie!

We enjoyed our time at Driftwood beach. The house accommodated 6 adults and 5 kids easily! Beautiful view’s from the house! Both Annie and her husband were very responsive to the propane issue and got it resolved quickly! We loved our stay and would recommend this place to anyone going to the Gig Harbor area!!

We were a group of 4 couples and it was the perfect layout. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The common space had amazing views and had many areas for indoor and outdoor relaxation. This home is right on the water and from the upper bedrooms, at times it feels like you are literally floating on the water. This is a very comfortable space. You will love it. Once you get there, you will want to settle in and not go anywhere. But, there is also so much to see in the area. Wish we could have stayed longer. Our stay was four nights. We will be back!

Driftwood Beach was a fantastic home. Very peaceful and relaxing. We stayed here with our family of 12 for 6 nights. The house has great indoor and outdoor spaces. The bedrooms are wonderful. Most with their own bathroom. The kitchen had everything that you would need. The views were gorgeous and we saw lots of seals, eagles, and other wildlife. We had fun playing on the beach and exploring. This truly is a great home to get away. Annie Jolie was great to answer any questions and quick to respond to any issues. It is a trip our family will remember.

We had the perfect stay at Driftwood Beach. It truly is a slice of paradise. We rent beachfront homes all over the world and this place was truly special. You feel like you have your own beach and feel like you are sitting on a boat from any room and deck. We had a multigenerational group from little kids to elderly and it worked well(had to navigate a couple of steps but it was doable). The views were just spectacular. We all had some of the best sleep EVER- it was beyond peaceful and quiet. It was super easy to get to from Seattle/Bellevue- by car and even have the option to take the ferry if you want. We did both and the kiddos were thrilled! The kids loved watching for seals(no whales) and searching for little crabs on the beach. The water is super calm so you can easily watch the little ones from the deck while enjoying adult time. The owner was incredibly responsive and was eager to make our stay perfect. We will definitely be back!

This home is the absolute best for a large family gathering. Great living and outdoor space, incredibly well equipped kitchen, super comfy beds and the most peaceful views and location I’ve ever been in add up to a week to remember. The three 6-12 year olds spent hours finding crabs under rocks and wading in the water. Nature hikes are close by and Gig Harbor is available for eating out. The museum in Gig Harbor was a hit too. The adults sat on the deck, cooked great meals, and slept so well in the comfy beds . All in all, perfect.

The pictures truly don’t do this home justice. Absolutely stunning. The home was clean and spacious. Communication with Annie was prompt and she went above and beyond, even sourcing extra pack n plays for our infants. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

The house is beautiful, and the location is unbeatable. We all had an amazing time while the kids explored the beach all day. When the tide was high, it felt as if we were actually on a boat because the deck was situated just right. I would definitely stay there again.

Remarkable setting on the canal with lots of wildlife to be seen; seals, bald eagles, fish, etc.... Loved the views from just about every window as well as the expansive deck. I would highly recommend staying here with family or friends. Only negatives were a low wifi signal everywhere but downstairs and a dishwasher that ran super loud[ and did not clean very well, both correctable.

We stayed here with our four adult children, their partners and two grandchildren. We loved the large bedrooms and all the bathrooms. The location on the water was beautiful and we used the kayaks provided on the property. Annie was so quick to respond to any questions before our arrival and checked in on us during our stay. Everything we needed was in the house. We had a great time!

Driftwood Beach house is the most amazing house our family of 10 has ever stayed in! You will need 2 weeks here-- one week to explore the area including Olympic and Mt Rainier NP's, The Pacific Ocean, Seattle, Tacoma, Gig Harbor (which we did) and another week to stay put and enjoy the beautiful views and wildlife from every room and deck of the house! WOW! Our 4 grandkids (age 5 and under) loved Driftwood Beach house and enjoyed collecting sea glass and shells on the beach. We loved the peaceful scenery and watching the bald eagles, dolphins, deer, and especially the family of seals that swam in every evening and slept on the fallen logs. The house is even better than the photos, if that is possible. It is clean, updated, spacious, accommodating and more than fully equipped and stocked with items and supplies. Annie was the most perfect host! She checked in and shared so much information on the area with us. We are so lucky that you shared your beautiful home with us. Washington State and Driftwood Beach property -- we loved you and hope to return again soon. Thank you, Annie!

This is a top notch destination — gorgeous views and wildlife literally at your feet in a comfortable and convenient and stunning home you’ll never want to leave. Took my C-suite team here for a strategic offsite and this location was absolute perfection. Enough space to have privacy with absolutely perfect group arrangements in the living room, kitchen, decks. Everyone wanted to buy this house and move out to Olalla after our stay. Hosts were elite support and so kind. Can’t wait to come back.

Where to start, we saw orcas, sealions, bald eagles and more. The property was beautiful inside and out, great for cooking big meals in the two kitchens, sitting outside right on the water and spending time with friends. The property feels very private and we took advantage of walking down the beach to get coffees at the olalla market/landing.

Absolutely beautiful house with spectacular location right on the waters of Puget Sound. The house is extremely clean and well furnished, with everything you need for a cozy and enjoyable get-together of friends. We had mixed weather (some sun, some rain), and were able to enjoy walks along the beach during the sunny weather while relaxing, playing games and chatting (and appreciating the rainbows) during the periods of rain.

Driftwood Beach House lived up to every photo on the listing. My family and I stayed five nights and were so sorry to leave when vacation ended. Would absolutely recommend. Every room has stunning views and the home is tastefully decorated and well appointed. We visited in winter but already day dreaming about returning in summer to spend more time outdoors. Lastly, Annie is a gracious and attentive host with lots of helpful info and great recommendations for things to do.

Our family of 5 travels well and often. We have stayed in numerous VRBO's along the way and we have never been more delighted in a home. Annie's home was spectacular. We arrived late due to travel issues and were hesitant to roll into the unknown at midnight. The home was immaculate and ready for us. The kids quickly settled in and our adventure began. From the proximity to Gig Harbor, kayaks on the water and mornings with the seals, if you are looking for a peaceful family escape, look no further.
