Beautiful spot

The apartment was perfect for the two of us. Very clean and well stocked. Very comfortable bed, though we tried windows open vs AC the first night and the mosquitoes tormented us. AC from then on, which is never my first choice. Amazing views, very quiet, beautiful balcony for relaxing. Steep walk from the beach back up to the apartment, a bit tough in the heat of the summer, but good exercise! And communication with the property manager was the best possible. Thank you for that!

A great apartment with fantastic view

The apartment was very well equipped with absolutely everything we needed. The view from the balcony is fantastic, especially are the sunsets amazing. You can seek both sun and shade at the well-furnished balcony, but there is no roof in case of rain. The apartment is situated in walking distance from the beach, grocery stores, restaurants, Trogir (30-40 min) and boats to Trogir. From sea level to the apartment you have to climb a quite steep hill (and some stairs). The host, Cynthia, is very nice and helpful. We got a lot of information before and under our stay. Review

Great apartment with a balcony view over the bay. Spacious and comfortable. Well located for trips up and down the Dalmatian coast by car, and easy boat trips to Trogir and on to Split. The route up through the Krka national park and on to Knin was also enjoyable.

Wonderful View

Vom Balkon des Apartments hat man einen wunderschönen Meerblick und kann die gesamte Umgebung einsehen. Das Apartment ist sehr gut ausgestattet und befindet sich in einer ruhigen Umgebung, d.h. sehr guter Erholungswert. Gehzeit zum Strand von Ciovo ist ca. 15 min. Nach Trogir kann man mit dem Bus oder dem Wassertaxi, das stündlich tagsüber fährt...eine tolle und sehenswerte alte Stadt. Es war ein sehr schöner und erholsamer Urlaub.

Lovely apartment with a fantastic view.

The apartment is in a great position overlooking the bay at Okrug Gornji. It is really well appointed and has everything you need. The view from the balcony is amazing and is perfect from the swing seat! It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach which has a nice choice of bars and restaurants. The ferry to Trogir is also convenient which enables a visit to either Trogir or the option to take the regular ferry to Split. We hired a car for part of our stay and the apartment has plenty of parking which is a bonus in Croatia. The host, Cynthia is very helpful, always responding promptly to any messages. We had a great holiday!!

Stunning Sunsets

We had an amazing time in Croatia and the apartment was lovely. Fully equipped and comfortable with spectacular views of the sea from the balcony and stunning sunsets. The beach was a short walk away with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Cynthia was extremely helpful and responded to messages promptly. A perfect break,11/10! Looking forward to visiting again.

Fantastischer Ausblick! Alles top! Wir kommen wieder

Bei diesem Apartment fehlt es an nichts. Das Apartment ist bestens ausgestattet. Wir haben einen fantastischen Ausblick auf einer sehr geräumigen und schönen Terrasse genossen. Die Vermieterin kümmert sich um das Wohl ihrer Gäste. Sie hat sich erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung ist und ob es an etwas fehlt. Sehr zu empfehlen.Es gibt genug Parkplätze. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und empfehlen das Apartment sehr gerne weiter. Alles top!

Wunder schöne Ferienwohnung

Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet. Uns fehlete nur eine Kaffeemaschine. Der Blick auf die Bucht

Der Blick auf die Bucht war fantastisch. Hoch oben auf dem Berg zu wohnen hat nur einen Nachteil: mit zunehmender Höhe schwindet der Wasserdruck. Wir mussten etwas mehr Zeit für die morgendliche Dusche einplanen. Ach ja, und WiFi... Nach der ersten Woche würde die Nachbarwohnung vermietet, und irgendjemand spielte dort am Router. In Zukunft wird die Wohnung einen eigenen Router bekommen. Und die Parkplätze sind leider nicht den Wohnungen zugeordnet. Und natürlich belegten die Kleinwagen die größten Parkplätze, so dass unser Fahrzeug auf die Straße ragte. Aber das hat nichts mit der Wohnung an sich zu tun. Wir haben uns gut erholt, und Mal sehen, wo wir im nächsten Jahr Urlaub machen.

Great apartment

The apartment was ideal for a couple and the views from the balcony were stunning especially the sunsets. It was a great place to chill out with a book and glass of wine. The village and beach were great with lots of places to eat, have a coffee or a drink. Would recommend Mali Raj for dinner, we went several times. Loved the water taxi to Torig which is a must see and more lovely places to eat and drink. We loved our water trip to Split which is stunning and had to go back for a second visit. Apartment is ideal re location although be aware it is quite a long steep hill, best not tackled in heat of the day. Overall had a great holiday, our first visit to Croatia but will definitely be back.

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit wunderbarem Blick

Top: saubere Wohnung mit allem was man benötigt. Insbesondere ist der wunderbare Blick vom Balkon hervorzuheben, wir haben sehr schön unser Frühstück und unsere Abende dort verbracht. Sehr hilfreich bei den hohen Temperaturen ist die Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer und im Schlafzimmer. Internet Zugang: hat nicht immer zuverlässig funktioniert, insbesondere Abends nicht, möglicherweise hängt dies mit überlasteter Telekom Infrastruktur zusammen, hat wenig mit der Wohnung zu tun. Vorsicht bei der Einfahrt mit dem Auto, ist extrem steil, man muss ganz langsam ein und ausfahren um Beschädigungen an der Unterseite der Stoßstange des Fahrzeugs zu vermeiden.

Amazing sunset views

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful apartment, the apartment itself is spotlessly clean and everything you may need for your holidays is available if required. The views from the balcony are amazing and you won't tire of sitting watching the day go by up there, or taking sunset photos!! The area itself is quite but the beach area which is a mere 5-10 mins walk is lively with numerous beach bars and plenty of restaurants and even more restaurants in Trogir a 15min water taxi ride away (20 kuna each) We walked to Trogir in less than half an hour , we went to Krka water falls which were beautiful but as we travelled in July too many people to be able to see it properly and we arrived there at 9.15am !! If you travel in quieter months I'm sure it would be much better. Primosten was a lovely quaint village 30 mins drive and Split is 30-40 mins depending on traffic. When in split go up to the Marjhan hills it's a fantastic view. One tip when driving on the island use the new bridge and turn left at the first roundabout and follow signs for Okrug Gorni it's much quicker and alot less traffic. All in all a great holiday thank you Cynthia

Great Apartment

We had a lovely stay at the apartment, it has all the you need for a comfortable holiday. The air-com was most welcome in the evenings. The views are beautiful we spent time watching the boats and the sunset. The water taxi to Trogir is a 10 minute journey. Where you can catch the boat to Split a great day out. Okrug Gornji is a lovely quiet area of Ciovo with beach bars, quiet beaches and small shops.. The apartment is on a steep hill but we soon got used to it and took a taxi back a couple of times.Well worth the effort as the views are spectacular from terrace The apartment wants for nothing and we hope to return soon.

Wunderbare Abende mit Sonnenuntergang auf dem Balkon

Im heißen Juli 2018 haben wir 2 wunderbare Wochen in Okrug verlebt. Wir hatten einen Wagen am Flughafen gemietet. Das Fahren in den zumeist engen Straßen stellt schon eine gewisse Herausforderung dar aber nach einigen Tagen gewöhnte man sich daran. Es blieb aber weiterhin Umsicht/Rücksicht und an einigen Stellen Geduld geboten. Am frühen Morgen sahen wir, dass das Foto hält was es verspricht. Eine grandiose Aussicht auf die Bucht, angenehme Schiffsbewegungen und so manches Flugzeug hoch oben am Himmel. Sehr interessant und nicht störend. Auch die unvergesslichen Sonnenuntergängen jeden Abend waren so entspannend. Die Wohnung ist sauber und gut eingerichtet. Nach so manchem heißen Ausflug brachte die Klimaanlage rasche Abkühlung. WLAN ist gut! Der Hauptbadestrand ist belebt und dort gibt es Bars, Restaurants und Wassersportangebote. Da wir ein Auto hatten, haben wir nicht weit entfernt einen ruhigeren Strand (Kies und Gestein) gefunden. Das Meer ist unglaublich klar, tolle Farben und sehr erfrischend (Badeschuhe sehr zu empfehlen). In der Wohnung gibt es reichlich gutes Informationsmaterial aber alles auf Englisch. Das war ein wenig mühsam für uns. Auch sonst wurde viel englisch gesprochen. Ab und an traf man auf deutschsprechende Personen. Die Hausverwalterin Bozena spricht gut deutsch! Mit der Vermieterin der Wohnung, Cynthia Bidwell gab es eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Kommunikation - auch auf englisch ;-) Meinen Freunden würde ich auf jeden Fall die Wohnung, den Ort, und die Umgebung mit tollen Städten wie Trogir, Split und den preiswerten Wassertaxis empfehlen. Der Nationalpark Krka war zu diesem Zeitpunkt für mein Gefühl zu überlaufen. 10 000 Gäste am Tag mit Autos und Bussen und auf wenigen Holzstegen unterwegs!
