Our stay at Okains Bay was incredible! Samie's home is jaw-dropping beautiful! We had a very memorable weekend and are already dreaming of coming back. Samie was a great host and communication was great.Five stars all around!

Revitalisation!

A really great property with all the amenities you could need. We used the outdoor spa every night, and what a special tranquil vibe with stars and birdsong. A perfect spot for relaxing and revitalising the spirits.

Family getaway

Beautiful house with everything you need. Very modern, clean and tidy with great communication. Although it is very close to the beach, we loved relaxing in the Spa pool and having a BBQ on the deck as the house has beautiful views.

Wonderful, peaceful, getaway

My sister and I enjoyed a fabulous 3 night stay (wish it had been longer) in this lovely home with so many individual touches. The welcoming gifts were an added delight and the location perfectly suited us. Communication with Samie was excellent. I look forward to returning; we did not want to leave!

A beautiful stay

This home is significantly more beautiful than the pictures can show. It was warm, modern and has incredible art work on every single wall, even the laundry. We didn’t have good weather but sitting and reading in front of the big window with the rural outlook was bliss. The beach is incredible, totally underrated.

Lovely and comfortable

Amazing Luxury Relaxing Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bach and would have loved to stay longer. The interior design of the house is beautiful and we made full use of the large patios surrounding the property. The beds were comfortable and found everything we needed in the kitchen & bathrooms. The hosts are very responsive and helpful in providing suggestions of local spots to try & to buy from. Highly recommend and we hope to be back soon!

OUTSTANDING

Amazing place to stay. The house is beautiful and the interior design & features exquisitely presented. If you like the taste of 'French Rustic' then you will LOVE this place. Decking on both sides enabling you to catch all day sun. The historic Okains Bay store just walking distance down the road. There were 6 of us staying (plenty of room and space) and each and everyone raved about this holiday home. I 100% recommend staying here and I would love to come back and enjoy another holiday/break soon. Thank you Samie :-)

Incredible stay

We had the most fantastic stay and the listing (although still beautiful) doesnt capture quite how amazing this home is. We have stayed in over 40 holiday rentals and this is by far our favourite. One of best places you’ll find

We enjoyed four days at this beautiful bach. In wonderful Okains Bay, the bach has absolutely everything you need. A well equipped kitchen, user friendly laundry and some of the most comfortable beds (and bedding) we’ve ever used. The home is thoughtfully furnished and worked well for my husband and myself, my mother and our child. There was plenty of space. Warm and welcoming the house would be great for a long or short stay. And the spa and outside areas where an absolute bonus. Thank you for a marvellous stay!

The house is stunning, the details are amazing.The place is very close to the beach. The beach an amazing place to spend some hours with family and friends. Best Bach I have ever been in NZ. Samie and Vanessa were great hostess. Would go back definitely.

Surprise and Delight

From the moment you drive through the gate , this house impresses. Inside was even further more delightful! Perfect for our family of 7 adults and the design of the house creates space & gathering areas that were perfect to feel we weren’t in each other’s way. Modern. Great utilities . Decks for Sun all day and fab outdoor furniture. This house was pure bliss and total relaxtion. A lovely big fridge too! Being a cook & foodie to cater for 7 of us - was pure pleasure in this kitchen. Sound system and spa - icing on the cake.
