The holiday apartment “Gebhart” is part of a country-style house and is situated in a quiet rural area outside of the village Schienen and is close to Lake Constance, as well as to the swiss border. The 50 m² apartment on the first floor consists of a living room with 2 single beds, a well-equipped kitchen, one bedroom as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a washing machine, a dryer, a hair dryer satellite television and a highchair. You can start your day with coffee on the south-facing balcony while you enjoy a nice view of the mountains, and in the evenings you can use the shared garden area to relax with home-cooked meals and a glass of wine, surrounded by peace and quiet. After a 5-minute drive (1.3 km) to the centre of Schienen, you will find a supermarket, a bakery, restaurants and a bus stop. The hilly area close to the Schiener Berg (Schiener mountain) and the Klingenbachschlucht (a ravine) is perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities, such as hiking or cycling, and there are many routes starting basically at your front door. The nearest beach, Strandbad Öhningen, is 5.4 km or a 10-minute drive away. There you can swim in the clear blue water and catch a glimpse across the border to Switzerland. Radolfzell is located a 20-minute drive (12 km) away, and you can drive to Konstanz, famous for its picturesque old town centre, in 45 minutes (34 km).
