Everything was amazing! They thought of pretty much everything. They were on top of messaging us about some things and checking on us. It was snow covered but the place was still absolutely adorable and worked out perfect. Can’t thank them enough and will be returning in the summer to be able to enjoy the outside.

Even better than the pictures! Incredible attention to detail with the Hobbit theme. Great amenities and clear instructions for enjoying this unique place. The stairs were no problem for our crew, but might be for anyone with mobility issues or wandering little ones. Owner was prompt in responding to a few questions. A must for LOTR fans!

Fun Family Vacation

Everyone enjoyed their time at this wonderful house and location. The kids really enjoyed the scavenger hunt. The house had amazing details and was very comfortable. I would recommend this house to anyone and would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay at Hobbit House

We appreciate the hospitality we received when staying at the Hobbit House. It was very clean, included lots of thoughtful things like light switch labels, help on how to make a fire in the pit, and showcasing local artists within the house. Communication was great. Perfect family getaway

The hobbit house did not disappoint! We were very impressed with all the little details. Plenty of activities to do on grounds and in the surrounding area! This place fit 3 adults and 7 teenagers comfortably. The trail with the scavenger hunt was a nice touch.

Beautiful home

The place was beautifully built & enjoyable for those who aren’t lord of the rings fans. The host was very communicative & was accommodating to our needs. The area around had amazing nature spots to check out. I definitely recommend booking the place. The only issue we had was the phone service being terrible. But, there is high speed internet.

Great Thanksgiving Stay!

We had a lovely Thanksgiving at the Hobbit House! Nina was very helpful ahead of our visit and even sent me photos of the pots and pans to make sure we had what we needed to cook everything. The kids loved the trails and the hunt for the rings. They have put thought into all the little things such as labeling light switches, a QR code by the fire pit to assist with building a fire and labeling hot tub buttons so you don't accidentally press the wrong one. As a guest I always appreciate when the host helps you be successful in their home.

Incredible getaway!

What an amazing place! We loved every part of the house and the property! Our kids had a blast doing the scavenger hunt and we enjoyed s'mores by the fire each night. The house had everything we needed and there were so many little hidden treasures. We hope to visit again soon!

Truly Magnificent

Our family spent several nights at the Hobbit House for my son’s 7th birthday. He is a big fan of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Let me just say from the moment we pulled down the driveway it was a magical experience. The owners of the home paid very close attention to every detail inside and out. Gandalf greeted us at the front door and that was just the beginning. My son had an amazing time exploring and finding all the Hobbit things that decorated the entire home. There was stuff for s'mores and many memories were made around the awesome fire pit. We hiked the trails around the property several times and found all of the hidden rings. We also enjoyed spending time in the jacuzzi. It is close to Ohiopyle and all the wonderful outdoor adventures there. The Hobbit House far exceeded our expectations and we will surely be visiting again during the fall. We wish we would have stayed longer!

House was absolutely magical. The owners thought of every detail from the decor, to scavenger hunt on the house trials, and all the amenities for our stay. House was very private and close to Ohiopyle area (10mins). Would recommend to anyone looking for a unique adventure within the beautiful laurel highlands.

Best Stay ever

The house is gorgeous! you feel like your staying in a story book, every little detail that is taken care is just amazing. I would love to return! The area didn't have a lot of activity but we went white water rafting and hiked to waterfalls and enjoyed life for a few days

Absolutely Inspiring and Amazing

I can not even descrube the beautiful setting, attention to detail, hospitality and uniqueness off The Hobbit House. Masters of the craft when it comes to an experience. The craftsmanship is second to none, the small details though out to make an exoerience. From the 2 miles scavenger hunt set up, the firepit, wood shed, hot tub and great balconies. It is great for a fanily of four, but would be amazing for two families plus. Spent the day hiking and to come back to the Hobbit house is a treat. Definitely booking for a 3-5 day excuslrsion soon! A must go for those who enjoy and experience, just not a place to sleep! Kuddos
