  • Lake Ohau cabin located just minutes from numerous walking tracks, the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail and the Ohau Snow Fields. The location is ideal for a weekend getaway with family and friends as well as a romantic get away for two.

    Look forward to lighting the vibrant fire in the house, making it cozy and pleasant. The house has all you need for a comfortable stay with family and friends, whilst you can take in the breathtaking mountain views.

    The beautiful and spacious property has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms.

Fabulous Stay!

We had a fabulous stay at the log cabin. The hosts were quick to respond to queries and made it a very pleasant stay. The accommodation was top notch and had everything we needed for a few days of relaxation. Would definitely stay again.

We had a really lovely stay in Ohau. The cabin was great - clean, comfortable, warm, well equipped and plenty of space for four of us. The area is stunning, breathtaking views everywhere and the ski field was perfect for our beginner family.I highly recommend staying in this lovely log cabin to explore the area. Thank you

Beautiful house, beautiful location

This is a wonderful house, well appointed and very comfortable. There is loads to do in the surrounding area but this is also a great house to spend time in and relax.

30th Birthday Celebrations

Fantastic log-cabin house and spot for a winter weekend away with friends. Fire-wood was stocked, kitchen had everything you needed, and the view was awesome. Communication from Mikayla was amazing. Thanks guys!

Cost cabin by the lake

Great place to stay for a couple of nights. We were able to take in a drive to Mount Cook and get some fantastic photos of the Milky Way with the darkest skies we have ever seen.

Stunning property

This log cabin is absolutely beautiful and very well appointed with everything you need. Nice and warm, great view of the ski field from the front windows, roaring log fire, high quality appliances, bed linen. Love the homage to the previous home sadly lost in the 2020 fires. We'll definitely be back. Loved our stay here in this gorgeous property. Thank you for having us.

What a gem!

We LOVED our stay at this beautiful log cabin! It was so cozy, had everything we needed and more, and was in a nice little peaceful neighborhood on the beautiful Lake Ohau. It was the perfect home base for all our Mt. Cook adventures.
